We are recruiting individuals who will be committed to planing and implementing new business towards digital transformation in the corporate development division directly subordinated to the president. Since its formation in October 2019,we have established technical advantages in the field without any competitor and our business is rapidly being expanding. In a continued effort to establish relationships with overseas start-ups and government-affiliated research institution aiming to build the experimental nuclear fusion reactors, we will drive the further digitalization of the next generation of nuclear fusion reactor. We are expecting you to perform wide variety of tasks related to formation and implementation of IT strategy to gain the competitive edge in future new business, and promotion of concrete digital transformation. We believe that early realization of nuclear fusion will contribute to decarbonization. We will build a strong presence in the experimental nuclear fusion reactor market, aiming to establish the nuclear fusion as a dominant industry in Japan. We have already received orders for large-scale projects from start-ups and government-affiliated research institution aiming to build the experimental nuclear fusion reactors.As our business is expanding, the corporate-wide digital transformation needs to be strengthened. We are seeking dedicated individuals who will be involved in the corporate-wide digital transformation with our top management in the corporate development division.

Job description

To realize the nuclear fusion reactor development accelerated worldwide, the digital plant concept using IT is required. To achieve the digital plant concept, data utilization and application of AI are essential such as digital sensing of reactor or each component, failure detection, or automation/volume production in development process. These industrial digital transformation can be a new potential theme for our future business. The scope of your job responsibilities will be coordinated according to your experience and skill. We are seeking individuals who can; design our business concept by involving various global players and take on a challenge of creating new business. develop and promote digital transformation from the system design phase (upstream operation)

Target person (necessary requirement)

■Experience in development of new business *Examples of experiences Your experience does not necessarily have to be the same as the following examples. ・Experience as a planner and engineer in IT start-up company ・Experience in a IT consulting firm ・Experience in promoting digital transformation in a company such as manufacturer ・Experience in utilization of IT in a research institution ■English level (intermediate) ・Understanding our corporate vision, mission, and value ・Actively engaging in improvement of business operations ・Ability to communicate with authority figures such as a university professor, competent engineers in national research institutions (ability to think logically and clearly convey opinions without disrespecting others)

Preferred qualifications

・Holder of MBA degree ・Experience of working overseas/foreign-affiliated company ・Experience of building IT infrastructure ・ English (more than proficient)
