Field Application Engineer
What you will do/仕事内容 LeapMindのミッションである「機械学習を使った今までにないデバイスをあまねく世に広める」の実現に、技術とビジネス上の専門性を活かして貢献する。 顧客のプロジェクトだけでなく、市場動向や技術の発展性を理解し、自社技術を最大限に活用する技術提案の作成から実装サポートまでの一連の業務を遂行する。 法務、知財、技術などの内部チームと連携して、Deep Learning技術のデバイスへの実装方法およびそれを応用したシステム構築方法の提案を行う。 As a Field Application Engineer, you are expected to contribute to LeapMind's mission "to create innovative devices with machine learning and make them available everywhere" by leveraging selling skills and business expertise. You will be responsible for executing a whole series of tasks ranging from drafting technological proposals to supporting the implementation which makes the most of our technologies. For this, you need to understand not only market trends and technological developments but also customer projects. You are expected to collaboratively work with internal teams, such as legal, intellectual property, and engineering, and propose methods of implementing deep learning technologies on devices and methods of system constructions using the technologies. リード機械学習エンジニア / Lead Machine Learning Engineer
What you will do/仕事内容 LeapMindは、深層学習普及のための大きな壁となっている電力消費の問題を解決するため、量子化ニューラルネットワークの研究開発と、そのネットワークを高速に実行するためのアクセラレータEfficieraの開発を主な業務として行っております。ハードウェアを独自で開発している都合上、自社のハードウェアの制約を満たしつつ高効率で動作するモデル開発を行うため、深層学習を使いこなし、それを活用したプロジェクトをリードできる機械学習エンジニアを募集しております。 特に、低消費電力デバイスを必要とする産業諸分野で動作するエッジAIを、Efficieraを活用して実現するために、高い実用性を持った深層学習モデルの開発に携わる優秀な機械学習エンジニアを求めています。 LeapMind is mainly engaged in the research and development of quantized neural networks and the development of Efficiera, an accelerator to run such networks at high speed, in order to solve the problem of power consumption, which is a major barrier to the widespread use of deep learning. Due to the fact that we develop our own hardware, we are looking for a machine learning engineer who is proficient in deep learning and can lead projects that utilize it in order to develop models that run at high efficiency while meeting the limitations of our hardware. What you will do/仕事内容 LeapMindでは、深層学習向けの独自アクセラレータIPを開発しています。 この独自アクセラレータIPは様々なモジュールから構成されており、これらのモジュールは外部から与えられた命令列に従ってそれぞれ自律的に演算実行を行います。アクセラレータIP内の計算資源やバッファは限られており、またこれらの計算資源量はコンフィギュレーションによって増減します。これら計算資源やバッファを効率的に運用し、DDRメモリとのデータ転送量を抑えつつ、演算器の高い稼働率を維持するには、高度なコンパイラが求められます。そのようなコンパイラの設計および実装は、高いコーディング能力だけでなく様々な計算機アルゴリズムの深い知識が求められる、非常にチャレンジングな仕事です。本ポジションでは、Deep Learningのネットワークを入力とし、これらモジュールへの命令列を出力とするコンパイラの開発を担当していただきます。今回募集の開発チームは、PG BATTLE 2021 企業の部で3位の結果を誇るチームで、非常に優秀でコーディング能力の高いメンバーと一緒に働くことができます。カジュアル面談のご希望やご応募をお待ちしております！ We, LeapMind Inc., are working on developing a unique accelerator IP for deep learning (DNN). This accelerator IP consists of various modules, each of which autonomously executes the sequence of instructions given by the host processor. There is limited computational resource and buffer within an accelerator IP, and its capability of computational resource depends on its configuration. Having a sophisticated compiler is critical for the IP to efficiently utilize these limited computational resources and buffer to maintain its computing unit being highly utilized while lowering the data transmission rate between the accelerator and DDR memory. Designing and implementing such a compiler is a challenging task, which requires both high coding skills and deep knowledge of various algorithms. You will be in charge of developing a compiler that takes deep learning networks as input and generates a sequence of instructions to those modules as an output.
