AI Solution Project Manager at AI Forward Office (Tokyo)

Background of the Recruitment

Money Forward provides a wide range of back-office SaaS products for sole proprietors, SMBs, mid-sized companies, and listed companies, including accounting and finance, HR and payroll, legal, and digital invoicing.

In recent years, many users have been using multiple services of Money Forward Cloud across the board, and as a result, we are entrusted with a vast amount of data. By utilizing this data and incorporating AI technology, we aim to achieve further operational efficiency and value provision.

Currently, we are developing services utilizing AI agents, and we are looking for a project manager to lead this new challenge and promote the development of Money Forward AI agents.

Main Responsibilities

Utilizing AI agent technology, you will be responsible for the following tasks to improve the convenience of each product in Money Forward Cloud:
- Project management of AI agent service development (planning, progress management, risk management)
- Coordination and management with an engineering team at overseas locations (about 5 members)
- Collaborate with PdM and other stakeholders to prioritize product development
- Promote agile development using Scrum
- Communication and reporting with stakeholders
- Improvement and optimization of the development process

Expected Role

You will be responsible for planning and promoting the entire development project while coordinating with the engineering team at overseas locations. Your mission is to ensure smooth project progress in collaboration with the AI Agent Product Manager (PdM).

• Achieve smooth coordination with the engineering team at overseas locations and lead the project to success.
• Collaborate with PdM to manage the product development schedule and progress.
• Visualize project progress, identify risks in advance, and respond.
• Create an environment to maximize team productivity.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to balance development and business.
• Promote continuous improvement of the development process.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Experience in managing software development projects (5+ years)
• Experience working in Japanese on development projects
• Experience in promoting projects using Agile/Scrum
• Skills in development progress management, risk management, and issue management
• Smooth communication skills with engineers, PdM, and business side

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience in product development using AI/LLM
• Knowledge of development using cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.)
• Experience in global team management
• Experience in software quality management
• Experience as an IT architect

Japanese Language Requirements

Business Level (Fluent, capable of handling communication with clients in Japanese)

English Language Requirements

TOEIC score of 700 or above, plus the ability to handle meetings and text communication in English soon after joining.
