Accounting associate (juwi Shizen）

This is a position for "juwi Shizen Energy".

Job Description

-Bookkeepping input and Bookkeeping management
-Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Japan GAAP, IFRS and German GAAP)
-Reviewing corporate tax and consumption tax returns
-Liasing with licensed tax accountant, national tax authority and accountant auditor
-Working for Shizen Energy/juwi Group's group consolidation
-Improving and maintaining cost management accounting
-International taxation scheme (mainly dealing with Germany and Singapore) strategy planning, etc.

Attractiveness of the job

Personnel in this position will deal with matters regarding to IFRS managerial accounting, international taxation, and auditorial support for a 50%:50% invested joint venture, have frequent interactions with international companies such as those in Germany, Singapore etc., and will be motivated to expand the renewable energy industry globally. At the same time, the Personnel will have oppotunities to work in Japanese with Japanese non-acccounting colleagues such as engineers, site managers, project managers and external stakeholders such as Japanese auditors, Japanese tax authorities, Japanese bookkeeping outsorcing companies etc.

Requisite qualifications and experience

【Required】

Experience

・Basic knowledge in accounting and tax
・Background experience in accounting and tax (degree in accounting, experience in a corporate accounting department, experience at an accounting/tax office or as an auditor)
・Communication skills and self-motivation to promote business involving various insider and outsider stakeholders
・High school graduate level of English reading and writing proficiency

Language

・English / fluent
・Japanese /  N2+ level but need to read Japanese character especially Kanji in order to read invoices and tax documents.

In addition to the duties mentioned above, the job holder is required to carry out other duties that are in essence part of his area of activity, according to his knowledge and abilities.

・Certified Public Accountant, tax counsellor, The Official Business Skill Test in Book-Keeping or any accounting related qualifications
・Experience of closing accounts for an individual's cost accounting
・Business level English proficiency
・Ability to close accounts in regard to IFRS
・Experience in regard to Transfer Pricing documentation
