【JOB SUMMARY】

Reporting to the CAO (CHRO), the Vice President of Human Resources will drive multiple new initiatives as a thought leader in a complex organizational structure (global, regional, and local), while executing HR strategies that support business objectives with a focus on growth and revenue goals. This person will lead multiple aspects of HR including staffing, performance management, compensation planning, succession planning, training/development, rewards/recognition, and organizational development. The role will be accountable for driving new initiatives and projects in the areas of organization design while championing a culture that will drive Universal Studios Japan’s goal to become an ‘Employer of Choice’ through increased employer branding and DEI initiatives. To be successful in this role, this person will advise and influence key stakeholders, while implementing tailored initiatives based on the unique needs of the business.

【ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES】

· Provide strategic human resources leadership and operate as a high profile business partner in supporting client goals and objectives. Drive HR initiatives including organizational effectiveness, recruitment, performance management, compensation planning, succession planning, training and development, rewards & recognition and employee communication and events.

· Partner closely with business leadership to ensure they and their teams are well positioned to deliver on priorities and position for the future. This includes organization design, talent management, change management and 1 on 1 coaching.

· Play a key role in the operating mechanisms of the business, including leading the annual talent review, performance assessment, compensation planning and providing support and input for Long-Range Plan and operating plans.

· Work with leaders and employees to establish and maintain a positive work environment, which recognizes diverse talent and abilities, acts as an employee advocate, and help curate various corporate and departmental initiatives

· Demonstrated experienced in supporting talent initiatives such as talent mobility and career development with an emphasis on succession planning

· Responsible for all aspects of Employee Engagement Survey to assess engagement and areas to improve while developing action plans and monitoring employee engagement goals and other indicators.

· Support the design of People Analytics products, processes, data, and analytics that address business needs.

·Play a leadership role as a thought leader in the transition to a post COVID environment that optimizes the employee experience in a hybrid environment while driving connectivity.

· Working closely with Employment Law & Labor Relations to create and execute a comprehensive employee relations strategy.

· Partner with Talent Acquisition team to develop and implement effective recruiting strategies in support of current and projected growth.

· Work with managers to build a career path for employees, identifying opportunities for training, new skill acquisition and advancement.

·Responsible for growth, development, engagement and retention of a strong HR team through the coaching and mentoring.

Act as a change agent identifying, assessing and proposing opportunities for HR process improvements.

【REQUIREMENTS】

・15 years of HR or equivalent business experience that required strong leadership, people management and motivation management.
・Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong client support orientation. Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization and with a wide range of clients, individually and in groups.
・Previous Employee Relations/Labor Relations experience.
・Knowledge and practical application of HR disciplines including Japanese employment and labor laws, employee relations, talent acquisition, management & leadership development, performance management, organization design and compensation philosophies.
・Project and process management skills with a demonstrated track record of delivering results. Ability to handle multiple priorities and work under pressure in an evolving organization.
・Strong business acumen and analytical skills including an ability to measure the impact of new programs on both recruiting and retention.

※リモート勤務可(週2~3日程度)、ただしプロジェクト進捗により変更

年間休日120日(月平均10日)、基本土日休み
※開業前後などプロジェクトの進捗フェーズにより、土日勤務の場合あり(振替休日取得可)
