【JOB SUMMARY】
Responsible for maintaining the company’s databases, ensuring the data is available to users. Working with both programmers and key users, involved in the analysis and design to determine how data should be organized. Implement high availability database design and provide ongoing technical support.
【ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES】

essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of
the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities (KSAs) required.
Database platforms:
Microsoft SQL (MSSQL), IBM DB2, PostgreSQL, MySQL/Mariadb, Oracle
• Database Management – software installation, creation, tuning and maintaining of databases.
• Primary technical contact for all Database design, and support. Implements complex database designs for the core enterprise applications, including software installation, creation, tuning, and management of all production and non-production databases.
• Work closely with programmers, reviews SQL code, and provides direction on effective efficient queries, appropriate indexing, and overall integrity to insure a high performance environment.
• Establishes and recommends policies on database use and services.
• Optimizes database access, and allocates database resources for optimum configuration and performance.
【REQUIREMENTS】
● 3 Years: Database management, data analysis and problem resolution required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
●High level Business English proficiency for communicating with HQ
●Preferred Business level Japanese for collaborating with other divisions internally
●Someone with experience with one or more of the following:
-Microsoft SQL
-PostgreSQL
-MySQL
-Oracle, or DB2
