SPEEDA China was established in 2015.
We provide an economic information platform (B to B SaaS) called SPEEDA (Chinese name: 思必达). It provides financial institutions and business companies with the information necessary for strategy development and market analysis, including worldwide corporate data, industry reports, market data, M&A, and expert knowledge.

About the Job

1) Mission and Responsibility
You'll be responsible for supporting and managing our existing client relationships daily. You’ll also identify new opportunities for up-selling as well as work. 

Client Onboarding, Follow-up, and Relationship Building:

  • Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth and efficient integration into our products.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups to understand clients' evolving needs and address any concerns.
  • Establish and cultivate strong relationships with existing clients, becoming a trusted advisor in their journey with our products.

Upsell Maximization:

  • Identify opportunities for upselling based on client needs and usage patterns.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to capitalize on upsell opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.

The current main target of SPEEDA is professional firms (securities firms/investment banks, banks and insurance companies, PE funds, consulting firms, M&A advisory firms, etc.). Initially, we will focus on the Hong Kong market, and in the future, we expect to create a market in mainland China.

2) Values to deliver to the client
SPEEDA provides comprehensive support from information gathering to information processing for professional firms, which are engaged in daily industry analysis, positioning analysis, and financial analysis, thereby creating a world where consultants and bankers can focus on "thinking through" and "creating strategies" instead of being occupied by time-consuming tasks. Points of competitive edge of SPEEDA are users can access large coverage of asian information in one platform.

In Japan, SPEEDA is widely known among professional firms, but in Greater China, SPEEDA is in the process of expanding its value. It is required that consultants and bankers who support decision-making in the business world have a high level of resolution in their work structures and procedures.

3) Team
The Global Account Development Team consists of three members. Led by the CEO, the team is dedicated to spearheading the expansion of critical areas that will play a pivotal role in the future growth of SPEEDA China Business.
The team comprises two field sales representatives, and the one marketing member in the marketing team  is actively engaged in exploring new markets, making it an exciting opportunity to get involved in the team's initial phase.

Requirements

【MUST】- meet all of the following criteria

  • Those who have at least 5 years of experience in the corporate sales area of the Chinese market and have produced overwhelming results (regardless of the industry, but especially those who are facing professional firms).
  • Consistent track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Those who enjoy creating a better approach, going beyond existing methods and frameworks.
  • Able to communicate in Chinese and English for business purposes.
  • Those who behave based on our mission and seven values in the past and in the future.
  • Able to commit to business expansion with a sense of ownership.

  • Those who have experience in business for large companies.
    *We welcome those who have experience in sales activities that involve a deep understanding of the target company's organizational structure and decision-making flow, and follow-up on the decision-making process.
  • Those who have been involved in the start-up of a business.
  • Those who have been involved in SaaS services.
  • Experience to use SPEEDA
  • Fluency in Japanese (writing, speaking, reading) is a plus, but not required.
