Investor Relations/Financial Analyst

Wayfarer is a tech-driven hospitality startup brand rapidly expanding its team. Currently, we have 12 hotel locations in Kyoto and Osaka across three cornerstone brands: Wayfarer, ORI, and Kabin.

We're looking for an Accountant specialized in Hotels Management to help us support our rapidly growth in Kyoto and Osaka. This role will report directly to the CFO.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the bridge for communications between Asset Managers/Institutional Property Owners and Wayfarer for property level reporting
• Optimize, automate and improve monthly property management reports and annual business plan forecasts for both Master Leases and Hotel Management Agreements
• Prepare drafts of monthly, quarterly and yearly results statements, conference call scripts, Q&As, presentations and press releases to the Asset Managers and other individuals.
• Ensure that we are compliant with all terms in our commercial contracts and create controls across our operations to ensure standards are met (without adding too many layers of red tape & bureaucracy)

Requirements

• Fluency in written and spoken Japanese
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• 3-5 years of experience in the hospitality sector
• Preferably based in Kyoto or Osaka; Tokyo or other locations accepted with regular travel to Kansai
