Manager / Vice President – Urban Real Estate Asset Management (Tokyo)

Responsibilities

・Perform asset management for properties owned by Japan Metropolitan Fund Investment Corporation (JMF)
(Initial assignment will be either Retail Asset Management in Asset Management Division I or Office Asset Management in Asset Management Division II, taking candidate preference into consideration)
・Develop and execute asset management strategies and business plans for assigned properties
・As an asset manager, take responsibility for overall property performance, including tenant relations, leasing, and engineering matters, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders and managing property-level financial performance

Qualifications

・Bachelor’s degree or higher
・Real Estate Transaction Specialist (Takken) license required
・ARES Certified Master preferred (candidates should be willing to pursue the certification after joining)
・Real Estate Appraiser or First-Class Architect license preferred
・Must not be a second-degree relative of a supervisory officer of Japan Metropolitan Fund Investment Corporation (JMF) or Industrial & Infrastructure Fund Investment Corporation (IIF)

Required Skills & Experience

・Approximately three or more years of professional experience in real estate-related fields (not limited to real estate companies), with a strong interest in REIT or real estate fund management
・Ability to maintain strong relationships with external partners such as property management (PM) and building management (BM) firms while conducting persistent and effective negotiations
・Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email) required
