Vice President – Hotel Asset Management

Responsibilities

Work on real estate investments managed by private funds sponsored by KKR, one of the world’s largest alternative asset managers, as well as investments by certain external investors.

・Perform asset management for real estate investments held by private funds and separate account structures
・Develop and execute asset management strategies and operating plans for assigned properties in collaboration with KKR
・As an asset manager, oversee tenant relations, property and building management (PM/BM), leasing, and engineering matters, working with internal and external stakeholders to enhance asset value
・Provide support for coordination with KKR group entities (including KKR Japan and KKR Capital Markets) in connection with real estate acquisitions

Note: While the company has traditionally focused on managing assets for listed REITs, this role will work on private fund investments in collaboration with KKR within a department established in October 2022.

Qualifications

・Bachelor’s degree or higher
・English proficiency (reading and writing)
・Real Estate Transaction Specialist (Takken) license preferred
・Must not be a second-degree relative of a supervisory officer of Japan Metropolitan Fund Investment Corporation (JMF) or Industrial & Infrastructure Fund Investment Corporation (IIF)

Required Skills & Experience

・Experience in asset management within the private real estate fund industry, particularly for hotel assets
・Ability to work collaboratively in a small, newly established team without rigid role boundaries
・Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders while approaching work with a proactive and positive attitude
・Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email) required
