【Technical General Position】
Technical General position, you will be involved in a wide range of work across R&D, design (hardware and software), and production engineering, covering everything from product and equipment development to mass production based on optical technologies.
Depending on your assignment and projects, you will be able to leverage your expertise while working across diverse technical fields.

In product development, we take an integrated approach that combines optical design, electronic circuit design, mechanical design, and software design.

【Job Responsibilities】

1. Research & Development
Responsible for creating new technologies and products, from basic research to prototyping and evaluation.
・Research, planning, and technical studies for new products and technologies
・Design, development, and evaluation of prototypes
・Technical verification and performance evaluation with mass production in mind
・Research aimed at improving performance and enhancing existing products

2. Design
Responsible for product specification planning, design, and evaluation, working collaboratively across optics, electronics, mechanics, and software.

・Optical design
・Electronic circuit design and PCB design
・Mechanical design (mechanisms and drive systems) and enclosure design
・Software design and programming

■Examples of Duties
・Design of control and measurement software for optical measurement instruments
・Design and improvement of software embedded in medical devices
・Design of electronic circuits and PCBs used in optical measurement equipment
・Design and evaluation of optical communication components
・Mechanical, electrical, and electronic design and evaluation of ophthalmic medical devices

3. Production Engineering
Responsible for establishing and improving production systems to achieve stable, high-quality mass production.

■Examples of Duties
・Product improvement design, prototyping, and evaluation
・Design and improvement of manufacturing processes
・Design of jigs and tools, and introduction of production equipment
・Design and management of production lines
・Technical studies to improve quality and productivity

4. Manufacturing
Responsible for establishing and improving production systems to achieve stable, high-quality mass production.
