Outline of the Job
As the Full DMU Owner, you will be responsible for overseeing the Digital Mock-Up (DMU) process throughout the product lifecycle of our eVTOL aircraft. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including engineering, design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the digital representation of our aircraft.

- Manage the creation, maintenance, and validation of the digital mock-up of our eVTOL aircraft using CATIA V5.
- Ensure that the DMU accurately reflects the current state of the aircraft design, including all components, systems, and assemblies.

- Facilitate regular reviews and feedback sessions to ensure alignment across departments and resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Implement and maintain a robust configuration management process for the DMU, including version control, change tracking, and documentation.
- Ensure that all stakeholders have access to the latest version of the DMU and manage any relevant changes or updates.
- Conduct thorough analysis and validation of the DMU to verify compliance with regulatory requirements, design specifications, and performance criteria.
- Identify and address any design conflicts, interferences, or discrepancies in the DMU to minimize risk and optimize aircraft performance.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve the DMU process, tools, and workflows to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and collaboration.

Essential Skills
- Extensive experience (5+ years) in aircraft design, CAD modeling, and digital mock-up management, preferably in the aerospace or eVTOL industry.
- Strong understanding of eVTOL aircraft design principles, systems integration, and regulatory requirements (e.g., JCAB, FAA).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
Desirable Skills
- Knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
- Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
- Strong project management skills
- Experience with Agile or Lean methodologies
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and certification processes
- Experience with risk management and mitigation
