Key Responsibility and  Activities

• Responsibility for the project management of brake parts for 4-wheel and 2-wheel vehicles for the aftermarket.
• Required to interact with sales and manufacturing plants during project implementation.
  　

Specific duties

• Project progress management
  ・Creation of a progress management table (with format) 　
  ・Interaction with domestic and overseas suppliers and bases.
• Project progress report 　
  ・Reporting to the department and upper management (weekly)
• Creation of Closing sheet 
  ・Review of planned products

Hitachi Astemo was born in January 2021 as a leading global mega supplier through the business integration of four companies: Hitachi Automotive Systems, Keihin, Showa, and Nissin Kogyo. To maximize the synergies from the expanded product lineup and newly acquired access to global markets, and to ensure smooth business operations as a global organization, we are recruiting an project management specialist who leads projects for the aftermarket.
　

Qualification /Experience

Required

• Experience in project management such as product development (over 3 years)
• Document creation using Microsoft Office (WORD/EXCEL/PPT)
• Presentation skills
• Japanese: Native level, English: Easy business conversation level
  　

Best if you are

• Experience in project management in the automotive industry (design and development experience is a plus)
• Experience in the aftermarket industry
• English proficiency (level that does not interfere with reading, writing, and e-mail use because there is communication with overseas bases)
