Axelspaceは、「Space within Your Reach 〜宇宙を普通の場所に〜」というビジョンの元、2008年の設立以来磨き上げてきた独自の超小型衛星技術によって、多くの人が当たり前のように宇宙を利用する社会の実現を目指しています。
2015年より開始したAxelGlobe事業では、多数の衛星を打ち上げて地球を高頻度でモニタリングしていく新しいインフラを提供しており、2019年に打ち上げた衛星1機に加えて、2021年には日本初の量産衛星4機の打ち上げに成功しました。
また、新事業「AxelLiner」では、お客様の宇宙・衛星ビジネスの早期実現のための衛星開発・運用等の一連の流れを提供しており、2024年には日本初となる小型衛星量産体制を活用した実証機初号機「Pyxis」を打ち上げ予定です。

Company Introduction

Axelspace has been one of the pioneers of micro-satellite technology and industry since the establishment of the company in 2008, and we envision democratizing space technology to a wider population across the globe for their daily use.

AxelGlobe business started in 2015 to provide a new Earth observation infrastructure by launching multiple micro-satellites for its higher data frequency. In addition to a satellite launched in 2019, we have successfully launched four more satellites in 2021, which used the first mass production technology for satellite production in Japan. Utilizing this small-satellite mass production system, our new service “AxelLiner” also supports clients outside the space industry to actualize their business involved in satellite projects.

• 衛星内のリソースの限られたコンピュータで動作する制御システムソフトウェアの開発ドキュメンテーション、試験とキャリブレーションの自動化
• ミッション要求解析と姿勢軌道制御システムへの実装
• 各プロジェクトに必要となる姿勢制御用センサーとアクチュエーターの選定
• 姿勢軌道制御用の新しいセンサーやアクチュエーターの市場調査、テスト
• データ解析、試験、シミュレーションによる検証
• 衛星打ち上げ前後のテスト、キャリブレーション、データ解析、サポート
• 軌道環境、姿勢及び軌道ダイナミクス、センサ/アクチュエータモデル等をシミュレートする高精度シミュレータの開発
• その他必要に応じた業務

必要なスキル・経験

• 学歴：高専又は大学卒業以上以下のいずれかに該当すること
• ソフトウェア開発経験（事業経験３年以上） 
• 以下のいずれかに該当すること。
  • C++およびPythonによる、自動車、ロボット、FA等の制御機器の開発業務の経験（3年以上）
  • モダンな開発環境の経験（アジャイル、CI/CD、Docker等）
• 言語（以下のいずれかに該当すること）
  • ネイティブまたはビジネスレベルの日本語スキルと基本的な英語力
  • ネイティブまたはビジネスレベルの英語力と基本的な日本語能力

歓迎スキル・経験

• 人工衛星の姿勢もしくは軌道制御システムに関する設計、シミュレーション、パラメータチューニング、性能解析、トラブルシューティング等の開発業務の経験
• 非線形制御システムまたは適応制御システムの経験
• Matlab/SimulinkにおけるControl System Toolbox、Aerospace Toolbox、Matlab/Simulink Coderの経験
• 人工衛星のシステムズエンジニアリングの経験
• オシロスコープ、安定化電源、マルチメータ等の実験機器の使用経験

About the Role

Design, develop, test and maintain the attitude and orbit control system of the satellite. Learn more about the team from this article!

Job Responsibilities

• Develop the control system software that runs in the resource-limited computer inside the satellite.
  • Document, test and automate the testing and calibration.
• Perform mission requirement analysis and its implementation to the attitude and orbit control system.
• Perform Sensor and actuator selection for each project.
• Research and test new sensors and actuators in the market for the control system of the satellite to be used in future projects.
• Perform verification by data analysis, testing and simulation.
• Run testing, calibration, data analysis and support before and after the launch.
• Develop a high-fidelity simulator that simulates orbital environment, attitude and orbit dynamics, sensor/actuator models.
• Other tasks as required.

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any engineering field.
• Software development experience (3+ years of business experience) 
• Technical Skills (one of the following):
  • Professional experience (3 or more years) in c++ and python software development for control systems, such as automotives, robots, factory automation, etc.
  • Experience in modern development (Agile, CI/CD, Docker, etc.)
• Language Skills (one of the following):
  • Fluent in Japanese (Native level) and have basic English conversation skills (Above B1 level) 
  • Fluent in English(Native level) and have basic Japanese conversation skills (above N2 level).

Favorable Skill set / Experiences

• Professional experience in spacecraft attitude or orbit control system development including design, simulation, parameter tuning, performance analysis, troubleshooting, etc.
• Experience in non-linear control systems or adaptive control systems.
• Experience in Matlab/Simulink Control System Toolbox, Aerospace Toolbox, MATLAB/Simulink Coder.
• Experience in spacecraft systems engineering.
• Experience with laboratory tools like oscilloscopes, stabilized power supply, multimeter, ...
