Axelspaceは、「Space within Your Reach 〜宇宙を普通の場所に〜」というビジョンの元、2008年の設立以来磨き上げてきた独自の超小型衛星技術によって、多くの人が当たり前のように宇宙を利用する社会の実現を目指しています。
2015年より開始したAxelGlobe事業では、多数の衛星を打ち上げて地球を高頻度でモニタリングしていく新しいインフラを提供しており、2019年に打ち上げた衛星1機に加えて、2021年には日本初の量産衛星4機の打ち上げに成功しました。

Company Introduction
Axelspace has been one of the pioneers of micro-satellite technology and industry since the establishment of the company in 2008, and we envision democratizing space technology to a wider population across the globe for their daily use.
AxelGlobe business started in 2015 to provide a new Earth observation infrastructure by launching multiple micro-satellites for its higher data frequency. In addition to a satellite launched in 2019, we have successfully launched four more satellites in 2021, which used the first mass production technology for satellite production in Japan. Utilizing this small-satellite mass production system, our new service “AxelLiner” also supports clients outside the space industry to actualize their business involved in satellite projects.

AxelGlobeは当社がオンラインサービスとして提供している衛星画像ベースの地球観測プラットフォームです。常に進化しているこちらのサービスを確実に顧客に提供するには、スピィーディなシステムとインフラの構築が不可欠要素になります。 こちらのチームの一員として、AxelGlobeプラットフォームをサポートするクラウドインフラの構築を担当していただくと同時にエンジニアリングプラクティスを用いて、信頼性の高くて低遅延のサービスを維持していただきます。
職務内容
以下の一部もしくは全てを担当して頂きます：
- TerraformなどのIaCツールを用いて、AxelGlobeのクラウドインフラの構築・運用
- AxelGlobeのスケーラブルかつ安定した運用の維持
- リリースフローの自動化、パフォーマンス・セキュリティを向上・可視化させるためのソフトウェアの開発・運用
必要なスキル・経験
- 学歴：コンピュータサイエンスの学位、工学の学位、または同等の実務経験
- AWSまたはGCP用いてのクラウドベースインフラの構築・運用経験
- IaCツールを使った高可用性システムの本番環境運用経験が3年以上従事
- サービスレベル概念への理解
- コンテナ技術に関する知見
- 次の分野の中から二つ以上に関して経験のある方：
- Unix/Linux OS
- TCP/IP
- 安定したDatabaseの運用経験
- コードのデバッグ・最適化経験及びコードによるルーチン運用業務の自動化経験
- 優れたコミュニケーションスキル・責任感のある方
- オンラインサービスのインシデント対応及びオンコールロテーションの経験

About the Role
AxelGlobe is our satellite imagery based earth observation platform that we offer as an online service. Our service is constantly evolving and the ability to build new components as the system evolves is crucial to ensure the delivery of this service to customers.
By joining our team, you will be responsible for building the cloud infrastructure that supports this platform and use engineering practices to ensure that this service is delivered to our customers reliably and with the least latency.
Job Responsibilities
The candidate would be responsible for part or all of the following:
- Construction and operation of AxelGlobe's cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform.
- Development and operation of software to automate the release flow and visualize/improve the performance of the system.
- Maintaining reliable and scalable operation of AxelGlobe.
Mandatory Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science, Engineering fields or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 3 years experience in operating and running high availability production systems using IaC tools.
- Experience building and operating a cloud-based infrastructure on AWS or GCP.
- Good understanding of Service Level concepts.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies.
- Strong background in at least two of the following:
- Unix/Linux OS
- TCP/IP
- Reliable database operation.
- Ability to write, debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
- Solid communication skills, strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure.
- Experience in incident response and on-call rotations for commercial online services.
- Fluent in English(Business level)
Favorable Skills / Experiences
- Ability to program in python
- Experience in working within SLO constraints.
- Basic Data analysis skills
- Knowledge of security notions and experience implementing security countermeasures
- Experience in management or interest in management positions in the future.
- Proficiency in both Japanese and English.
