Axelspaceは、「Space within Your Reach 〜宇宙を普通の場所に〜」というビジョンの元、2008年の設立以来磨き上げてきた独自の超小型衛星技術によって、多くの人が当たり前のように宇宙を利用する社会の実現を目指しています。
2015年より開始したAxelGlobe事業では、多数の衛星を打ち上げて地球を高頻度でモニタリングしていく新しいインフラを提供しており、2019年に打ち上げた衛星1機に加えて、2021年には日本初の量産衛星4機の打ち上げに成功しました。
また、新事業「AxelLiner」では、お客様の宇宙・衛星ビジネスの早期実現のための衛星開発・運用等の一連の流れを提供しており、2024年には日本初となる小型衛星量産体制を活用した実証機初号機「Pyxis」を打ち上げ予定です。

Axelspace has been one of the pioneers of micro-satellite technology and industry since the establishment of the company in 2008, and we envision democratizing space technology to a wider population across the globe for their daily use.

AxelGlobe business started in 2015 to provide a new Earth observation infrastructure by launching multiple micro-satellites for its higher data frequency. In addition to a satellite launched in 2019, we have successfully launched four more satellites in 2021, which used the first mass production technology for satellite production in Japan. Utilizing this small-satellite mass production system, our new service “AxelLiner” also supports clients outside the space industry to actualize their business involved in satellite projects.

業務内容　

このポジションは、人工衛星開発におけるシステムズエンジニアとして、衛星システムおよびそのサブシステムを開発する複数のドメインにまたがるエンジニアリングチームと協調し、一つの統合されたシステムとして作り上げることができる意欲的なエンジニアリングプロフェッショナルを対象としています。 システムズエンジニアは、プロジェクトマネージャーと密接に連携し、プロジェクトのライフサイクルを通じて、システムレベルの要求分析、アーキテクチャ設計、運用コンセプト、技術的なバジェット管理、検証、妥当性確認などのシステムエンジニアリング業務全般を担当します。また、これらの業務に関する手法やプロセスの確立、改善に寄与することも重要な仕事の一部となります。

職務内容

• 人工衛星開発のライフサイクル（企画、設計、試験、打ち上げ、運用）にシステムズエンジニアリングの観点から携わり、ミッションの達成に貢献する。
•  顧客のユースケースとシステムの制約を整理し、各エンジニアリングドメインと連携しながら要求を定義し、維持する。
• システムレベルの検証計画を立案し、また実施をリードする。
• システム設計におけるトレードオフ分析を実施し可視化する。
• ミッション要求と制約をもとに、人工衛星の運用コンセプトを立案、定義する。
• 電力、質量、通信リンク、Delta-Vなどのシステムレベルのバジェットを管理する。
• 人工衛星の不具合をシステムの観点から分析し対策を行う。
•  設計レビュー、検証計画などのエンジニアリングドキュメントの作成と社内外のステークホルダーへの報告。
• プロジェクトマネージャと連携し、システムズエンジニアリングの観点から設計や検証に関する意思決定を行う。

応募条件

■必須条件

•  工学、理学あるいはそれに準じる修士課程修了以上の学位取得者
• 航空宇宙分野またはマルチドメインシステム（ロボット、自動車、産業機械、FA機器等）開発における要求分析・定義、上流設計、検証計画作成と実施に携わった経験がある方
• 多国籍・多文化なチームと平易な英語を用いてコミュニケーションしながら業務を遂行できる能力
• ビジネスレベルの日本語力

■歓迎条件

• システムズエンジニアまたはプロジェクトマネージャーとして、10名から50名程度のエンジニアリングチームによる製品開発に携わった経験
• 電力システム、機械、通信、姿勢制御など、宇宙機開発に必要な工学分野もしくは光学製品開発のいずれかに精通していること。
• アジャイル開発における知見
• STKなどの軌道シミュレーションソフトの使用経験
• モデルベースシステムエンジニアリング（MBSE）ツールの使用経験

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated engineering professional to be a Systems Engineer in satellite development. It involves collaboration with engineering teams across multiple domains to develop satellite systems and their subsystems into a single integrated system. This position is intended for working closely with the Project Manager, the Systems Engineer is responsible for all systems engineering tasks throughout the project life cycle, including system-level requirements analysis, architecture design, concept of operations, technical budget management, verification, and validation. Another important part of the work is to contribute to the establishment and improvement of methodologies and processes related to these operations.

Job Description

• Engage in systems engineering perspectives throughout the lifecycle of satellite development (planning, design, testing, launch, and operation) and contribute to the mission's success.
• Organize customer use cases and system constraints, define and maintain requirements in collaboration with various engineering domains.
• Conduct and visualize trade-off analyses in system design.
• Manage system-level budgets, including power, mass, communication links, and Delta-V
• Create engineering documentation such as design reviews and verification plans, and report to internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager to make design and verification decisions from a systems engineering perspective.
• Analyze malfunctions of satellites from a system perspective and take corrective measures.
• Formulate and define the concept of operations for satellites based on mission requirements and constraints.
• Develop and lead the implementation of system-level verification plans.

Requirements

■Mandatory

• Degree holders with a Master's or higher in engineering, science, or a related field.
• Experience in requirements analysis and definition, upstream design, and creation and implementation of verification plans in aerospace or multi-domain systems development (robots, automobiles, industrial machinery, FA equipment, etc.).
• Proficient in English, capable of seamless communication within multinational and multicultural teams.

■Favorable

• Experience leading product development with an engineering team of approximately 10 to 50 members as a Systems Engineer or Project Manager.
• Proficiency in engineering disciplines required for spacecraft development, such as power systems, mechanics, communications, attitude control, or optical product development.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
• Experience with orbital simulation software such as STK.
• Experience using Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools.
