Axelspaceは、「Space within Your Reach 〜宇宙を普通の場所に〜」というビジョンの元、2008年の設立以来磨き上げてきた独自の小型衛星技術によって、多くの人が当たり前のように宇宙を利用する社会の実現を目指しています。
2019年より開始したAxelGlobe事業では、多数の衛星を打ち上げて地球を高頻度でモニタリングしていく新しいインフラを提供しており、2019年に打ち上げた衛星1機に加えて、2021年には日本初の量産衛星4機の打ち上げに成功し、現在は5機の地球観測衛星コンステレーションを運用し、2〜3日に1度の頻度で一度に55km〜幅の画像を撮影し、データやソリューションを提供しています。
また、祖業である専用衛星事業をより使いやすく発展させ、2022年に発表した「AxelLiner」では、お客様の宇宙・衛星ビジネスの早期実現のための衛星開発・運用等をワンストップで提供しており、2024年には実証機初号機「PYXIS」を打ち上げ、これまでの開発・運用実績は11機となりました。

2022年には第22回JAPAN VENTURE AWARDSにて最高賞である経済産業大臣賞を受賞、2024年には「Technology Fast 50 2023 Japan」に選出されました。

Company Introduction

Since our founding in 2008, Axelspace has been driven by the vision “Space within Your Reach.” We have continuously refined our unique micro-satellite technology with the goal of democratizing space technology to a wider population across the globe.

AxelGlobe started in 2019 to provide a new Earth observation infrastructure by launching multiple micro-satellites for its higher data frequency. In addition to a satellite launched in 2019, we have successfully launched Japan’s first four mass-produced satellites in 2021. We are currently operating a constellation of five Earth observation satellites, capturing images with a 55 km swath every 2 to 3 days, and providing data and solutions.

Building on our experience with our dedicated satellite business, we launched AxelLiner in 2022 to provide a one-stop service for satellite development and operation, helping customers quickly actualize their satellite business. In 2024, we launched our first demonstration satellite, “PYXIS,” bringing our total number of developed and operated satellites to 11.

Additionally, we received the highest award, the Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Award at the 22nd JAPAN VENTURE AWARDS in 2022, and was selected as part of “Technology Fast 50 2023 Japan” in 2023.

調達プランナー（Procurement Planner）は、アクセルスペースが技術的革新性や価格競争力を維持・強化してゆくための購買業務に必須な需要予測、市場予測、取引先評価、コスト分析や効率的で費用対効果の高い活動の為の戦略の開発と実行を担当します。優れた分析能力、コミュニケーション能力、リスク管理能力、および調達や分析ソフトウェアに対する高い理解を持ち、設計/製造/購買チームと深く連携し、サプライヤー管理、需要予測、リスクおよびコンプライアンス検証、プロジェクトを計画どおりに遂行するためのタイムマネジメント等の知識を持つ調達経験者を募集しています。

職務内容

• 需要予測
• 市場動向の把握と報告
• サプライヤー評価とそれらが品質/コスト/製造可能性/納品要件を満たしていることを確認するための部門間レビューの実施
• 総所有コスト (Total Cost of Ownership, TCO) ツールを活用した既存部品、コンポーネントの削減機会分析
• 事業部門および経営管理部門と連携したコスト削減、納期遵守、品質改善、製造終了（End of Life, EOL) 対応
• 新規調達戦略の立案（Business Process Reengineer, BPRによる部署内省力化を含む）
• 総支出構造および原価構造の理解と取引条件交渉戦略の立案
• 環境および安全規制について最新情報を把握し、サプライヤー申告情報を検証

必要なスキル・経験

• ５年程度の調達およびサプライヤー管理等の実務経験

About the Role

The Procurement Planner is responsible for demand forecasting, market analysis, supplier evaluation, cost analysis, and the development and implementation of strategies for efficient and cost-effective activities, which are essential for Axelspace's purchasing operations to maintain and strengthen its technological innovation and cost competitiveness.

We are looking for a experienced candidate with excellent analytical, communication and risk management skills, a strong understanding of procurement and analytical software, the ability to work closely with design, manufacturing and purchasing teams, and knowledge of supplier management, demand forecasting, risk and compliance verification, and time management to deliver projects on schedule.

What would you do?

• Demand forecasting
• Market trend analysis and reporting
• Supplier evaluation and cross-functional reviews to ensure quality, cost, manufacturability, and delivery requirements are met
• Analyze opportunities for reductions in existing parts and components using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) tools
• Work with business and management to reduce costs, meet delivery deadlines, improve quality, and address end-of-life (EOL) issues
• Develop new procurement strategies (including internal departmental streamlining through Business Process Reengineering, BPR)
• Understand total expenditure and cost structures and develop negotiation strategies for transaction terms
• Keep up-to-date on environmental and safety regulations and verify supplier declarations

What requirements should you meet?

• Mandatory
  • 5 years+ of practical experience in procurement and/or supplier management
  • Business-level Japanese/English proficiency (TOEIC: 785 or above)
  • Experience of ERP/MRP systems usage, BOM analysis, and expenditure data analysis
  • Understanding of the TCO approach
  • Understanding and experience using two of the following: Google Workplace, PowerQuery, and RPA
  • Analysis and presentation skills using pivot tables, VLookups, and macros
  • Excellent persuasive and interpersonal skills for interacting with suppliers, business leaders, and other internal stakeholders
  • Flexibility to adapt and thrive in an environment with multiple projects, challenges, shifting schedules, and priorities
  • High levels of integrity and reliability with a strong results-orientation
  • Ability to identify complex problems, review relevant information, develop and evaluate options, and implement solutions
  • Strong communication skills, able to work independently in cross-functional teams and convey information clearly and concisely
  • Creative, entrepreneurial, and comfortable taking measurable risks
  • Ability to travel to client locations on an irregular basis, including international business trips

  • Negotiation skills, including the TCO approach
  • Understanding and use of Google Workplace, PowerQuery, and RPA
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations for board members and businessunit managers
  • Degree in engineering, supply chain management, business administration, or related field
  • Experience/certification in supply chain management, purchasing, 6σ Green/Black Belt, or PMP
  • Experience working in the space and defense industry
