Junior Solution Architect, IT

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Junior Solution Architect with a passion for the insurance industry to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior solution architects and project teams to understand insurance system requirements and objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and development teams, to identify business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analyze current technology platforms, systems, and processes to determine areas for improvement and develop proposals for optimization.
• Develop technical documentation, including solution designs, project plans, system diagrams, and integration architectures.
• Assist in the design and documentation of architectural patterns, frameworks, and models specific to insurance applications.
• Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to demonstrate proposed insurance solutions.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful implementation and integration of insurance solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the development lifecycle of the projects.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends specifically within the insurance sector, evaluating their potential impact on insurance architecture.
• Support the continuous improvement of architectural practices, processes, and frameworks within the insurance domain.

 Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Close to 5 years of experience or less in a related field, preferably in insurance software development, systems integration, or IT consulting.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, system architecture, and integration patterns relevant to the insurance industry.
• Familiarity with insurance-specific platforms, databases, and technologies (e.g., policy management systems, claims processing, underwriting platforms).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
• A self-motivated individual with a dedication to learning and a strong desire to pursue a career as a Solution Architect within the insurance industry.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Very good command of English + business level Japanese required

 Tech Skills

• Understanding of microservices architectures and containerization technologies like Kubernetes.
• Understanding of front-end frameworks like React, Angular, and Node.js.
• Knowledge of any cloud computing platforms like Azure, AWS or Google Cloud.
• Understanding the security architecture principles
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Ansible, and Jenkins.
• Knowledge or working with APIs and integrating systems using RESTful web services.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java, Python, and C#.
• Knowledge of web technologies, reverse proxy servers, etc.,
• Experience working with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL.
