Company Overview

Cover Corporation is a next-generation IT entertainment company that operates one of the world's largest companies that supports Vtubers, hololive production. We are at the forefront of creating a new culture of virtual talents that resonates globally and expanding into the metaverse business.

hololive production hosts numerous virtual talents not only from Japan but also from Indonesia and North America. We deliver a wide variety of content on a global scale.

Summary

The LA subsidiary's operations include advertising sales, licensing, merchandising (MD), public relations (PR), and studio management. The COO's responsibilities encompass recruitment, business development, and local team management.

Licensing: Exploration of licensing and wholesaling partners in the US (as well as the consideration of employing staff).
PR: Hiring a PR agency while assigning US local partners (as well as the consideration of employing staff).
Merchandising (MD): Considering joint ventures with licensed companies and starting local MD operations, with plans to manage e-commerce sites locally in the mid- to long term.
Studio Management: Supporting recording sessions when talents use the studio.

Required Skills

• Experience as a head of overseas business in the entertainment or internet industry.
• Work experience in the United States.
• People management experience with a multinational team of 10 or more.
• Experience in recruitment activities in the United States.
• Native level of Japanese and business level or above in English.

Preferred Skills

• Work experience at a local corporation in the United States.
• Experience setting up overseas subsidiaries.
