Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to drive the global expansion of VTuber and character IPs in Chinese-speaking markets. In this role, you will lead the execution of marketing plans, coordinate with partner companies and internal teams, and develop and implement licensing product review plans. Utilizing your language skills, you will play a key role in supporting business growth through cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead marketing plans and approval processes for licensees and clients.
• Collaborate with internal approval oversight teams, recording studio operations teams, and talent managers in Japanese (or English).
• Stay informed about the latest trends in the VTuber and gaming industries.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business goals and implement licensing commercialization strategies while preserving brand value.

Required Skills

• Native-level or near-native proficiency in Japanese and Chinese (Traditional).
• Business-level proficiency in English.
• Proven experience managing marketing or licensing projects from planning to completion.
• Experience using project management tools (e.g., Monday.com).
• Experience handling third-party IPs or acting as an IP licensor to manage brand feedback and approval processes.
• Strong interest in VTuber culture and trends, with a deep understanding of gaming audiences.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and Chinese, with experience in cross-functional team collaboration.
