■ Overview

We are seeking a globally-minded Business Development professional to join our newly established Growth Strategy Team, contributing to gaming-related initiatives at COVER Corp.
This role is not focused on direct sales, but on building meaningful promotional partnerships within the gaming ecosystem — including studios, publishers, and platforms — to amplify the global reach of hololive production’s VTuber talents and IP.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, executing strategic collaborations, and expanding COVER Corp’s presence in game-related projects, including mobile gaming and the Metaverse.

■ Job Responsibilities

• Support current and upcoming game projects from a promotional and, primarily, business development perspective
• Identify and negotiate strategic promotional partnerships with game companies globally
• Promote VTuber talent exposure in the gaming industry through collaborations and co-marketing
• Develop and pitch partnership proposals in collaboration with internal stakeholders
• Represent COVER Corp at major gaming industry events (e.g., Gamescom, TGS, GDC)
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities through market research and industry trend analysis
• Track and report on partnership outcomes , KPIs, and campaign results
• Collaborate closely with internal departments (Talent Support, Marketing, Legal, etc.)

■ Required Skills

• Business-level fluency in Japanese and English
• Proven experience in business development or strategic partnerships in the gaming industry
• Experience working with or negotiating partnership deals with global companies (especially in Western markets)
• Ability to develop and execute BD strategies aligned with organizational objectives
• Strong strategic thinking, goal orientation , and schedule management
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to independently coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
• Understanding of platform ecosystems in the gaming industry (e.g., mobile, console, PC)

■ Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience launching or managing game marketing projects or promotional tie-ups
• Interest in or knowledge of VTuber, anime, or otaku culture
• Experience in startups or rapidly growing companies
• Additional language proficiency (e.g., Korean, Spanish, Chinese)
• Familiarity with IP licensing , influencer collaborations, or digital content monetization models
