hololive production hosts numerous virtual talents not only from Japan but also from elsewhere such as Indonesia and North America. We deliver a wide variety of content on a global scale.

About the Position

We are seeking an overseas sales representative to lead outbound sales and licensing business expansion in the U.S. market. This position plays a critical role in expanding the presence of our IP and brand by formulating and executing strategies tailored to the U.S. market, driving successful licensing opportunities across multiple categories. We welcome candidates with strong sales experience and a deep understanding of the gaming or entertainment industry, who can proactively open new business opportunities and help grow our overseas revenue in conjunction with our overseas subsidiary, COVER USA.

Application Requirements

  • Permission to work in the US
  • Applicants may be requested to submit application documents in Japanese in addition to English

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with U.S. clients and partners
  • Negotiate and close licensing agreements aligned with company goals
  • Ensure legal and policy compliance in collaboration with the legal team
  • Coordinate with internal teams and the U.S. subsidiary for smooth execution
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables in conjunction with internal sales project management team
  • Report market insights and progress to senior management
  • Achieve sales targets through proactive, independent activities

Required Skills

  • Native-level English; business-level or higher Japanese
  • Sales and/or experience with licensing-in and/or licensing-out in gaming or entertainment industry
  • Strong negotiation and general communication skills
  • Proven ability to independently drive sales and achieve targets

Preferred Skills

  • Experience collaborating with advertising agencies or creative agencies
  • Work experience in international or cross-cultural business environments, particularly within Japan or North America
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical abilities
