Our engineering team consists of an experienced Engineering Manager alongside highly promising young engineers. Job Description

As a Team Leader for our rapidly growing SFA/CRM product, you will take ownership of everything from architecture and development to empowering the team’s growth.

1. Software Development & Technical Problem Solving

  • Architecture & Development: Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, high-performance software applications and systems.
  • Solving Complex Challenges: Identify and execute creative, effective solutions for complex technical issues, including performance optimization and technical debt reduction.

2. Team Leadership, Mentorship & Process Driving

  • Mentorship: Share technical expertise and provide guidance/mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Progress Management: Monitor team development progress, identify bottlenecks, and provide hands-on support to resolve blockers.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure high standards of quality, consistency, and maintainability through rigorous code reviews.
  • Organization Building: Actively participate in discussions to shape and improve the development organization.
  • Agile Facilitation: Drive the Agile development process by actively engaging in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

3. Technical Strategy & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Technology Adoption: Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, integrating relevant advancements into the team and projects.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the definition of technical specifications, project scope, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product Managers, Designers, Business Owners, and other engineers to align on and achieve collective goals.

In this position, we are looking for a leader who has experience heading teams or projects and thrives on the balance of staying hands-on while taking ownership of the team's overall success. Our goal is to help you expand your scope of leadership to the next level.

By leading the resolution of complex, high-difficulty issues, including the strategic reduction of technical debt, you will significantly enhance your market value as a high-tier engineer.

You will have the opportunity to integrate our proprietary AI technology into the product, challenging yourself to create the next generation of SFA/CRM. Primarily office-based, with the option to work from home two days per week.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in web application development using modern frameworks.
  • 3+ years of experience with Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience developing Enterprise SaaS services.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Team Lead or Tech Lead.
  • Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
  • Practical experience with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Management & Agile: Experience in project management or as a Scrum Master.
  • Quality Assurance: Experience implementing and utilizing automated testing frameworks.
  • Japanese language proficiency: JLPT N2 or conversational level.
  • Proficiency in Vietnamese is a strong plus (to facilitate collaboration with our Vietnam-based development team).
