In the petroleum refining business, the maintenance, management, and continuous improvement of the accuracy of LP models and crude assays are essential, as they are used in critical decision-making such as production planning. We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable LP specialist who can contribute to the company over the long term.
From the next fiscal year onward, we expect an increase in LP-related work, including modifications to LP models that integrate the Singapore refinery, which will become part of our group, together with the broader Asian market. We expect this individual to play an important role not only in supporting these LP-related activities but also in advancing the company’s strategic initiative of overseas business expansion.

業務内容

LPに関するスペシャリストとして、以下の業務を担当いただきます。
・LPモデルおよび原油Assayの保守管理
・LPモデルの精度向上に向けたモデル改善・開発
・原油Assayの精度維持・向上に向けた原油性状データのリサーチおよび評価
また、LPに関する専門的知見をもとに、LPモデルの改善方針の策定、関係者への助言、課題解決に向けた業務推進を担っていただくことを期待しています。

As an LP (Linear Programming) specialist, you will be responsible for the following:

・Maintaining and managing LP models and crude oil assays.
・Improving and developing LP models to enhance their accuracy and performance.
・Researching and evaluating crude oil property data to maintain and improve the accuracy of crude oil assays.

In addition, leveraging your expertise in LP, you will be expected to formulate strategies for LP model improvement, provide technical guidance and recommendations to stakeholders, and drive initiatives to resolve issues and advance related projects.

応募要件

【必須要件】

1. 石油精製・石油化学業界、またはLPモデルベンダーにおいて、LPモデルを用いた最適化業務、またはLPモデルの開発・管理業務の実務経験を5年以上有すること。
2. LPモデルの構造（目的関数、制約条件、変数、入力データ等）および線形計画法の数理的概念を理解し、LPモデルの構築、改修、保守、改善の実務経験を5年以上有すること。
3. LPモデルを用いた生産計画、最適化計算、シミュレーション、またはモデル精度向上に関する実務経験を有すること。

※スキル・経験があれば日本人に限らず外国人人材も可。

1. At least 5 years of practical experience in optimization activities using LP (Linear Programming) models, or in the development and management of LP models, within the petroleum refining or petrochemical industry, or with an LP model vendor.
2. At least 5 years of practical experience in the construction, modification, maintenance, and enhancement of LP models, together with a solid understanding of LP model structures, including objective functions, constraints, variables, and input data, as well as the mathematical concepts of linear programming.
3. Practical experience in production planning, optimization analysis, simulation studies, or model accuracy improvement using LP models.

【歓迎要件】

・必須要件に加えて、国内外の石油会社・化学品メーカーの製造プロセスエンジニアないし生産管理の実務経験があること(工場での上記業務経験があればなお可)
・英語　TOEIC800点以上
- In addition to the required qualifications,practical experience as a process engineer or in production management at an oil company or chemical manufacturer, either in Japan or overseas.
