About us

What we do goes far beyond "building properties."
Population decline, shifting tourism demand, labor shortages in logistics, regional disparities in healthcare and nursing care, growing overseas markets - we are a developer that takes society's challenges as its starting point and reimagines what real estate can be.
Across four domains - Hotels, Logistics, Healthcare, and Overseas - we handle everything in-house: land planning, development, operations, and fund structuring.
In 2025, we listed a hotel-focused REIT, marking our transition into the operational phase across all major business lines. We are also expanding our overseas development activities, with a focus on Dubai and ASEAN.
As society and industry continue to evolve, we are extending our mission - "Creating real estate that society truly needs" - to the global stage.

Our Philosophy

"Turn Challenges into Value."
Our management philosophy is "Turn Challenges into Value." We identify challenges in society and industry - and transform them into new forms of value. This philosophy is woven not only into the direction of our projects, but into the way we work and the culture of our teams every day.
We have a culture that values people regardless of age or tenure, so we see their proposals become new business ventures.
Our team includes members from diverse industries - construction, finance, hospitality, trading, manufacturing - and the collision of these varied experiences is what generates new value. "Enthusiasm over experience. Execution over title." That is the spirit that defines Kasumigaseki Capital.

About Our Hotel Business

Japan has many regions rich in tourism appeal, yet accommodation options suitable for families and groups of four or more remain insufficient. We have developed proprietary hotel brands across major cities and tourist destinations nationwide, including "fav" (an apartment hotel brand ideal for groups), the luxury brand "FAV LUX," and the resort brand "seven x seven."

Position Overview

This is not a conventional interpreter role. You will be a creative and cultural bridge – deeply embedded in the hotel brand-building process and an active driver of projects.
Our Branding Director communicates in vivid, layered terms – painting pictures of brand vision, guest experience, atmosphere, design sensibility, and storytelling. The challenge is not simply rendering words into another language; it is carrying intent, emotion, and nuance across languages so that every stakeholder arrives at the same destination. What gets “lost in translation” in this role is not vocabulary – it is vision.
You will work closely with our Branding Director and development team, facilitating communication across hotel development, design, construction, and marketing. You will frequently collaborate with overseas partners and creatives, giving you the opportunity to be part of international projects at the intersection of culture, creativity, and execution.
We are looking for someone who does more than interpret – someone who understands what is being said, what is being meant, and what is being built.

Key Responsibilities

  • Simultaneous interpretation (Japanese–English) in meetings with affiliated companies, external partners, and overseas creatives
  • Simultaneous interpretation at internal meetings and company events
  • Content comprehension and communication support for meeting materials and related documents
  • Bridging cultural and creative context – ensuring that brand direction, design intent, and project vision are conveyed with full meaning, not just accurate words
  • Interpret and communicate not only spoken language, but also the underlying intent, context, and strategic objectives of discussions
  • Facilitate alignment among stakeholders by ensuring creative concepts, brand vision, design philosophy, and guest experience objectives are accurately understood across languages and cultures
  • Support discussions involving branding, hospitality, architecture, design, storytelling, and customer experience by helping preserve nuance and meaning throughout the communication process
  • Act as a cultural bridge between Japanese and international teams, helping stakeholders navigate differences in communication styles, expectations, and business practices
  • Business travel accompaniment (domestic and international)

Requirements

  • Must to have:
    • Experience in simultaneous interpretation (Japanese–English) in a business
    • 3+ years of professional interpretation experience
    • Native-level Japanese proficiency
    • Native-level English proficiency or equivalent advanced English skills
    • Ability to grasp nuance, context, and intent – not just words – and carry the full meaning of a message across languages
  • Nice to have:
    • Interpretation experience in design, construction, marketing, or real estate
    • Knowledge of hotel development or architectural projects
    • Interpretation experience in global/international project settings
    • Familiarity with brand, hospitality, or creative industries – someone who instinctively understands conversations about guest experience, storytelling, atmosphere, and design

Ideal Candidate

Beyond technical skill, we are looking for someone who brings genuine curiosity and cultural intelligence to their work. The ideal person:

  • Possesses exceptional listening and interpretation skills with the ability to capture nuance, context, and intent beyond literal translation
  • Naturally understands the bigger picture and can connect detailed discussions to broader project objectives and brand vision
  • Has a strong interest in hospitality, branding, design, architecture, customer experience, and storytelling
  • Demonstrates curiosity and appreciation for how spaces, experiences, and brands are created and brought to life
  • Communicates effectively with both creative and business stakeholders
  • Thrives in fast-paced environments and can quickly adapt to changing priorities and evolving discussions
  • Acts as a trusted partner who helps teams reach alignment and move projects forward efficiently
