About Business Development Group
The Business Development Group supports the growth of mobility services deployed by the Toyota Group around the world through the power of “systems” and “technology”. The team is involved in global projects related to Full Service Lease, which plays a central role in mobility services, as well as other service domains.
We identify challenges that arise when launching services in each country, as well as issues that must be solved to achieve further growth. Based on these findings, we define system‑driven points of differentiation and requirements for global systems, and lead the development and implementation of optimal solutions.
Our mission is to expand mobility services globally and deliver high‑quality services to customers. Collaboration with overseas business units and engineers is primarily conducted in English.
What you'll do
You will lead the planning and execution of strategies to expand our business in major overseas markets. This is a key role that shapes our global Go‑To‑Market strategy by leading global teams, creating new partnerships, and developing new sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
You will also identify system‑related challenges in overseas KINTO and related business entities, as well as cross‑border projects, and be responsible for designing IT solutions and defining requirements.
More specifically:
- Plan and develop business and sales strategies for mobility services in each country, and plan differentiation strategies through system development
- Work with internal and external engineers to plan, design, and architect systems that are optimal for the business and scalable globally
- Drive global system implementation projects, including detailed business analysis and collaboration with engineers inside and outside the organisation
- Coordinate and negotiate with diverse stakeholders and manage the initiation and operation of projects

- Implementation of leasing business systems
We are currently working on a global core system that supports KINTO (Full Service Lease). We are working with overseas KINTO entities and local partners to plan global deployment.
- Dealer‑focused solution implementation
We are deploying solutions from China‑based IT companies. At present, we are introducing Alibaba’s solutions for Japanese automotive dealers.

Requirements
Minimum requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
IT‑related business development, system planning, or business planning - Experience in overseas business or participation in global projects
- English proficiency: Business level or higher
- Japanese proficiency: Business level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience in planning and implementing global core business systems
- Hands‑on experience working at overseas subsidiaries or launching operations/businesses abroad
