Spearheading a next-gen data hub for accounting/sales to empower data-driven management
Background (Why Now?)
- Macromill is a global leading company in the online research and marketing research fields.
- Currently, to achieve further business growth and transformation (the advancement of data-driven management), we are entering a critical phase of comprehensively renewing our internal core systems.
- In particular, the seamless integration of our accounting system and sales force automation/customer relationship management (SFA/CRM) systems is an urgent task.
- We are seeking a Platform Engineer to lead the zero-base construction of a company-wide data hub, integrating siloed systems.
Mission
- You will drive our internal core system renewal, AI utilization, and workplace strategies such as BYOD from a technical perspective, supporting the backend of the research and marketing platform that aids our clients' decision-making.
- Your mission is to formulate medium- to long-term strategies, define requirements, design specifications, and create a robust and flexible architecture that solves management issues under an appropriate development structure (Agile/Waterfall).
Specific Responsibilities
- Technical Lead for Accounting and SFA/CRM Renewal Projects: Collaborate with business divisions, engineers, and vendors to lead everything from requirement definition and specification design for highly difficult products and microservices, to business process design considering Employee Experience (EX), and final release.
- Design and Development of System Integration Infrastructure (EAI/ETL): To connect the accounting system (e.g., SAP) and SFA/CRM (e.g., Salesforce/Slack), you will lead the design and implementation of API integration and data infrastructure construction using data integration services (e.g., Workato) and integrated ID management services (e.g., Yesod). You will achieve company-wide data consistency starting from master data such as personnel and organization.
- DX Promotion and Implementation in the Back-Office Domain (Contracts, Purchasing, Budgeting): Organize business requirements in collaboration with legal, finance, and purchasing departments, and design processes and approval workflows that meet internal control and audit requirements. You will independently expand these requirements into system design and implementation.
- Architecture Improvement for Governance and Future Scaling: Design configurations, authorizations, and change management that meet security and audit requirements, and propose and execute continuous improvements that can withstand future organizational and system expansion.
Job Satisfaction and Appeal
- Significant Management Impact: There are high company-wide expectations for the Global Technology Department, which supports Macromill's business growth. The systems you build will directly contribute to the speed of management decision-making and business growth.
- Zero-Base Construction in a Modern Technology Environment: You can build new platforms and processes with modern architectures (SaaS best practices, microservices, etc.), allowing you to fully utilize your knowledge of the latest technologies.
- Perspective and Career as an Architect: While demonstrating your expertise as a technical engineer, you can cultivate the perspective of an "Enterprise Architect" who overviews the entire system from a business standpoint, building a career with high market value.
