Overview

About the Fukuoka Development Base

The Fukuoka development base of Money Forward was established in December 2017. Since then, many engineers, designers, and interns have joined, and the base has been steadily growing.

In late November 2020, we moved to a new location to further expand the development base, and we are actively recruiting engineers and designers. At the Fukuoka development base, with the concept of "Move Forward," we aim to be a place that values growth opportunities for our members and encourages them to boldly take on various challenges.

Money Forward provides services that solve financial issues through technology. At the Fukuoka base, we develop and operate "Money Forward Cloud Expense" and "Money Forward Cloud Accounts Payable," which are core services of Money Forward offered to sole proprietors and corporations.

Additionally, we are developing "Money Forward Pay for Business" a platform that promotes cashless transactions in the business domain by providing business cards and other services. This new business was launched from the Fukuoka base in September 2021.

Responsibilities and Duties

Recruitment Background

At the Money Forward Fukuoka development base, we are developing various services, including the business-oriented cloud service "Money Forward Cloud," to solve a wide range of financial issues.

As we continue to add new products and features, rapid development and quality assurance to satisfy our customers have become urgent needs.

While speed is being ensured through Agile development, quality assurance in short cycles is still a work in progress, and we are continuously improving through trial and error.

As the number of product users increases and the organization expands, we are seeking someone who can lead the team as a Lead QA and drive product quality improvement.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including building and executing test strategies in the ERP domain of the back-office SaaS "Money Forward Cloud," as well as project management operations.

Specific duties include:

  • Organizational management, including recruitment and development of team members
  • Formulating test plans to meet customer requirements and product goals
  • Quality analysis, quality improvement, and defect analysis
  • Improvement of test processes
  • Improvement of development processes
  • Improvement of operational efficiency
  • Promotion of test automation (strategy formulation, implementation, and improvement)

※Upon joining, it is expected that you will be assigned as a QA leader for 1-2 ERP products.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Over 3 years of experience as a QA engineer
  • ISTQB or JSTQB Foundation Level certification, or equivalent knowledge
  • Experience in formulating and executing test strategies with a focus on QCD and the test pyramid
  • Experience leading a test team (including onboarding and developing team members)
  • Proactive attitude towards quality improvement
    • Ability to question existing processes and methods, actively identify and propose solutions to issues, and lead stakeholders such as PdM/Eng. towards improvement and resolution

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • QA experience in a business company
  • Experience in quality planning, quality analysis, and quality improvement
  • Experience in improving development processes
  • JCSQE Software Quality Engineer Certification at the basic or intermediate level or higher
  • JSTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level or higher
  • Experience using various testing tools
  • Experience in automating UI tests or API tests
  • Technical knowledge in the development of web or smartphone applications, and experience as an engineer
  • Experience in building/maintaining CI environments
  • Ability to analyze logs and data to identify issues
  • Practical experience in software development, including reading and writing source code, with some knowledge or experience in software development (approximately 2-3 years)

Language Requirements

  • Conversational level Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N3 or above)
  • Basic business level English (equivalent to TOEIC 700 or above)
    • If you do not have a qualification equivalent to TOEIC 700 or above, you will be required to take a company-designated test during the selection process (generally expected after the first interview).
    • If you have other qualifications or experiences that demonstrate your English proficiency, please let us know.
      • Examples include Eiken Pre-1st Grade, Eiken 2nd Grade (Eiken CSE Score 1950 or above), TOEFL iBT 60 or above, IELTS 5.0 or above, Cambridge English FCE, etc.

Salary System
<Salary Range>
Min 534,000 JPY / month(6,408,000 JPY / year)〜834,000 JPY / month(10,008,000 JPY / year)
Each including fixed allowances of 154,098 JPY〜240,687 JPY / month.
Bonus
A「High Performance Bonus」may be paid to employees who receive high evaluations based on semi-annual evaluations in addition to their salary.

Working Hours
