Overview
About the Fukuoka Development Base
The Fukuoka development base of Money Forward was established in December 2017. Since then, many engineers, designers, and interns have joined, and the base has been steadily growing.
In late November 2020, we moved to a new location to further expand the development base, and we are actively recruiting engineers and designers. At the Fukuoka development base, with the concept of "Move Forward," we aim to be a place that values growth opportunities for our members and encourages them to boldly take on various challenges.
Money Forward provides services that solve financial issues through technology. At the Fukuoka base, we develop and operate "Money Forward Cloud Expense" and "Money Forward Cloud Accounts Payable," which are core services of Money Forward offered to sole proprietors and corporations.
Additionally, we are developing "Money Forward Pay for Business" a platform that promotes cashless transactions in the business domain by providing business cards and other services. This new business was launched from the Fukuoka base in September 2021.
Responsibilities and Duties

For this position, we are seeking individuals who can engage in product management, using Scrum/Agile methodologies effectively, to drive organizational transformation, improve development productivity, and enhance the success potential of valuable products.

As a Scrum Master, you will not only facilitate and engage in advocacy activities but also work alongside engineers and product managers, participating in all activities to deliver high-value products to customers.
Job Responsibilities
You will join the development team for either Money Forward Cloud Expenses or Cloud Debt Payment, and initially, we would like you to build trust with the team through facilitation and dialogue. Additionally, to expand teams that are resilient to change, we would like you to support various product projects, including team building, creating a development culture, product ownership, and refining development processes.
We also encourage you to engage in activities that create vibrant and valuable teams/members and to present your achievements externally!

Current Challenges
The development organization at the Fukuoka base is expanding steadily, and as we operate multiple development teams in parallel, there is a shortage of Scrum Masters relative to the number of teams. This has become a bottleneck in smoothly advancing development with Scrum, so we are recruiting new Scrum Masters.
Required Skills and Experience
- Experience of both success and failure as a Scrum Master
- Listening skills
- Problem organization skills
- Problem-solving ideas that are not bound by methodology
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience in web service development from the planning stage
- Experience or knowledge in building AWS
- Experience in code review (giving/receiving) in OSS
- Experience in organizing or presenting at study sessions
- Experience in developing mobile applications with a web application backend
- Experience in product management
- Experience in web application development
- Experience in large-scale Scrum (LeSS) teams
- Scrum-related certifications such as Certified Scrum Master
Language Requirements
- Business level Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N1 or above)
- Basic business level English (equivalent to TOEIC 700 or above)
- If you do not have a qualification equivalent to TOEIC 700 or above, you will be required to take a company-designated test during the selection process (generally expected after the first interview).
- If you have other qualifications or experiences that demonstrate your English proficiency, please let us know.
- Examples include Eiken Pre-1st Grade, Eiken 2nd Grade (Eiken CSE Score 1950 or above), TOEFL iBT 60 or above, IELTS 5.0 or above, Cambridge English FCE, etc.
