As we continue to add new products and features, it is our utmost priority to ensure rapid development along with quality assurance to satisfy our customers. We are able to deliver speed due to our agile development methodology, however, quality assurance within short cycles is an area that is still evolving, hence the need to strengthen the personnel (SDET) in this area. Responsibility Improvement of test coverage for unit testing Assurance of upstream quality using metrics Automation of testing using tools like Selenium Automation of non-functional testing using Chaos Engineering and similar methods Qualification Minimum 3 years development experience, or test automation experience using scripting languages Holder of ISTQB AL certification or equivalent knowledge Bachelor's degree in Information Processing, Computer Science, or equivalent (e.g., Information Technology Engineer Examination, etc.) Preferred Skills and Experience Experience in AI development and/or experience in using AI tools to improve development processes. The division is experiencing rapid growth coupled with the globalisation of the development organisation and launch of new product features, so it is essential to ensure continued improvement in quality across the product line and organisation. With this background, we established the QA Division within the SMB Development Department in 2025 so we can commit to the quality improvement for each product and improve the quality standard across the SMB Development Department. Responsibilities and Duties We are seeking a QA Engineer with strong analytical, testing, and communication skills to join our dynamic team at Money Forward. Job Summary We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Lead Engineer to drive the automation strategy and lead a small, high-performing QA team for our fintech products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, proven experience in automating testing processes, and excellent leadership skills to guide the team in delivering secure, high-quality financial software. A high sense awareness and attention to detail are essential to ensure the reliability, compliance, and safety of our systems and data. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for web, API, and backend systems. Collaborate with developers and product managers to ensure testability of requirements and high coverage across features. Participate in defining and improving QA processes and automation frameworks. Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to ensure stability and scalability. Perform manual testing when required, particularly for exploratory or edge cases.
