In this role, you will oversee Moneytree's Professional Services team and recruit, train, and manage members to define requirements, select architecture, and write specifications for digital banking, fintech, and related products and solutions for corporate clients across Japan.

The Director of Partner Development is responsible for the team working with major partners to deliver strategic and breakthrough projects building on our financial data platform Moneytree LINK®, our unique catalogue intellectual property, and leveraging Moneytree D5 our proprietary, end-to-end solution development and delivery methodology. Our goal is to be the number one partner for digital transformation and innovation at the frontier of fintech and financial services in Japan.

Moneytree is a registered agent for open banking in Japan. Our technology is used by major banks, accounting software companies and fintech companies in Japan. Cornerstone clients include Japan Post Bank, Mitsubishi UFJ Nicos, UPSIDER, Layer-X and TKC, and our apps are used and trusted by millions of people.

In this role you will:

・Lead commercial development of Moneytree’s line of business responsible for partner solutions development.
・Recruit, hire, and develop world-class product managers, project managers, and solution architects, fostering a high performance culture.
・Develop partnerships with key development vendors and technology specialist vendors.
・Establish and manage operational structure, iterating and reinforcing best practices that integrate both sales and solution development methodologies.
・Coach and motivate the team to understand the mission, passionately solve customer challenges, and achieve customer goals via the unique value enabled by our approach.
・Supervise projects coordinating sales, product, development vendors, and other key teams to define requirements, create specifications, and select architectures to ensure smooth execution and delivery.
・Participate in client sales meetings as a knowledgeable and highly credible expert helping to close deals.
・Manage resource utilization and achieve profitability margin goals.
・Responsible for ensuring the team maintains detailed, recorded context of the line of business, documenting processes, projects, best practices, requirements, statements of work, and all other project related matters, making AI a tool we can use deeply to scale our activities.

About You

・Minimum 10 years experience in software and systems development projects, with experience selling to financial services clients, with a minimum of 2 years experience in leading a successful Professional Services team
・Very strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, SaaS software and mobile software solutions, and the ability to communicate to clients and prospects
・Project management experience in Cloud based platform for B2B use cases.
・Open minded, curious, and hungry to develop yourself, whether self-directed or learning from colleagues / managers.
・Persuasive speaker and a clear written communicator, with excellent in-person presentation skills
・Strategic and goal oriented, you are a logical thinker, data driven and can quickly master new domains
・Comprehensive knowledge of Project Management skills and methodologies and experience utilizing these methods is a plus
・Native level Japanese and business level English (TOEIC 800+ or equivalent)
