長崎から、世界のビジネスを支える課題に挑む5日間

ONE DEJIMAは、長崎を拠点にグローバル海運会社 Ocean Network Express（ONE）のビジネスを支える企業です。

私たちは、人事、データ分析、業務改善、プロジェクト推進、グローバルネットワーク管理など、世界のビジネスをより良く動かすための課題解決に取り組んでいます。

本インターンシップは、単なる職場見学ではありません。参加者の皆さんが、ONE DEJIMAの抱える実際の課題解決に取り組みます。社員とともに課題を理解し、情報を集め、議論し、最終日に自分たちなりの提案を発表する、充実した5日間の実践型プログラムに挑戦していただきます。

プログラムの特徴

1. リアルなビジネス課題に挑戦する
   インターン期間中は、ONE DEJIMAの各部門が実際に向き合っているテーマをもとに、課題解決に取り組みます。正解が一つに決まっている課題ではなく、自分たちで考え、仮説を立て、調査し、提案を形にしていきます。
2. 長崎にいながら、グローバルビジネスを体感する
   ONE DEJIMAは長崎にありながら、シンガポール本社や世界各国の拠点とつながっています。インターンを通じて、地方にいながらグローバルな仕事をするという新しいキャリアの可能性を体感することができます。
3. 社員からフィードバックを受けられる
   最終日には、ONE DEJIMAの社員に向けて提案をしていただきます。発表内容に対して社員からフィードバックを行い、皆さんの強みや今後伸ばすべき点を一緒に考えます。

募集コース：専門分野の選択

ご希望される部門を第３希望まで選択してください。第１希望は必須、第２希望、第３希望は任意です。

• Product & Network (P&N):　8月17日～8月21日　【日本語開催】
  グローバルな海運ビジネスにおけるサービス、ネットワーク、プロジェクト推進に関わる仕事です。世界規模のビジネスをどのように設計し、関係者を巻き込みながら進めるかを考えます。
• Agency Management (AGM): 8月24日～8月28日　【日本語開催】
  世界各国の代理店や拠点との連携を通じて、グローバルネットワークを最適化する仕事です。各国・各地域の業務をどう標準化・改善するか、グローバルに品質を高めるには何が必要かを考えます。
• Data-Driven Enterprise (DDE):8月31日～9月4日　【英語開催】
  プロセス管理を活用して現場の課題（ペインポイント）を技術要件へと翻訳し、経営層にとって戦略的価値のある、直感的でデータ駆動型のソリューションを構築する仕事です。
• Business Intelligence (BI): 9月7日～9月11日　【日本語開催】
  データや情報を分析し、ビジネス上の意思決定につながるインサイトを導き出す仕事です。海運市場、顧客、競合、地域経済などの情報を読み解き、提案にまとめます。
• Human Resources (HR)：9月14日～9月18日　【英語開催】
  人材採用、育成、組織づくりを通じて、会社の成長を支える仕事です。どのような人材が必要か、社員が成長する仕組みをどう作るかなど、人と組織に関する課題に取り組みます。

対象者

日本国内外の大学・大学院に在籍する学生　
※学部2年生以上、大学院生を対象
※日本人学生、留学生のいずれも応募可能です。

5日間の流れ

当社のインターンプログラムは、以下のとおり行われます。

• 1日目 | オリエンテーション: ONE DEJIMAの会社概要、事業内容、グローバル海運業界、各部門の役割について学びます。また、参加者同士のチームビルディングを行います。
• 2日目 | 課題理解・テーマ設定: 配属コースごとに、取り組む課題を発表します。社員から背景説明を受けたうえで、本質的な問題は何か、チームで整理・設定します。
• 3日目 | リサーチ・仮説構築: 必要な情報を集め、課題の原因や解決の方向性について仮説を立てます。社員との対話を通じて、考えを深めていきます。
• 4日目 | 提案づくり: 調査結果と仮説をもとに、実行可能な提案にまとめます。プレゼンテーション資料を作成し、発表に向けて準備を行います。
• 5日目 | 最終プレゼンテーション: ONE DEJIMAの社員に向けて、チームごとに提案を発表します。発表後には、社員からフィードバックを行います。

5 Days of Tackling Challenges that Support Global Business from Nagasaki

ONE DEJIMA is a Nagasaki-based company that supports the global operations of Ocean Network Express (ONE), a premier international shipping line.

Our work goes far beyond simple administrative tasks. We solve complex problems across Human Resources, Data Analytics, Process Improvement, Project Management, and Global Network Management to keep global business moving efficiently.

This internship is not a “company tour”. Interns will actively tackle real-world challenges currently faced by ONE DEJIMA. This is a 5-days hands-on practical program where interns will collaborate with our employees to understand problems, gather facts, engage in discussions, and present their unique proposals on the final day.

Program Content

1. Tackle Real Business Challenges

During the program, interns will work on problem-solving themes based on actual issues currently faced by various departments at ONE DEJIMA. There are no pre-determined single right answers; interns will think independently, form hypotheses, conduct research, and shape their own proposals. 

2. Experience Global Business while in Nagasaki
While based in Nagasaki, ONE DEJIMA is directly connected to our Singapore headquarters and regional hubs worldwide. Through this internship, interns can experience a new career path: managing global-scale operations from a regional city. 

3. Receive Feedback Directly from Employees
On the final day, interns will present their proposals to ONE DEJIMA employees. Our staff will provide constructive feedback on their presentations, helping the interns identify their personal strengths and areas for future development. 

Application Tracks: Choose Your Expertise

Please select up to three program choices in order of preference. Your second and third choices are optional.

• Product & Network (P&N): (17 August - 21 August) | Conducted in Japanese
  Engage in services, network planning, and project management within the global shipping industry. You will explore how to design global-scale business models and move them forward while aligning multiple stakeholders.
• Agency Management (AGM): (24 August - 28 August) | Conducted in Japanese
  Optimize our global network through seamless collaboration with overseas offices and agents. You will focus on how to standardize and improve operations across different regions and what it takes to elevate service quality on a global scale.
• Data-Driven Enterprise (DDE): (31 August - 4 September) | Conducted in English
  Use process management to translate operational pain points into technical requirements, creating intuitive, data-driven solutions with strategic value for leadership.
• Business Intelligence (BI): (7 September - 11 September) | Conducted in Japanese
  Analyze data and market intelligence to derive insights that drive critical business decisions. You will decode information surrounding the shipping market, customers, competitors, and regional economies to formulate strategic proposals.
• Human Resources (HR): (14 September - 18 September) | Conducted in English
  Support company growth through talent acquisition, development, and organizational design. You will tackle people-related challenges, such as determining what kind of talent the company needs and designing frameworks that foster employee growth.

Eligibility

• Students currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Japan or overseas.
• Open to undergraduate sophomores (2nd year) and above, as well as postgraduate/master's students.
• Both Japanese national and international students are welcome to apply.

5-Day Schedule

Our Internship program will be conducted as follows:

• Day 1 | Orientation : Learn about ONE DEJIMA’s company profile, business model, the global shipping industry, and the role of each department. This day will also include team-building activities to get interns to know each other.
• Day 2 | Issue Understanding & Theme Setting : The specific assignment for each track will be announced. After receiving a background briefing from our employees, interns will form teams and work together to define the core problem.
• Day 3 | Research & Hypothesis Building : Gather necessary information and form hypotheses regarding the root causes of the challenge and potential solutions. Interns need to refine their ideas through active dialogue with staff mentors.
• Day 4 | Proposal Development : Interns need to synthesize their findings and hypotheses into an actionable business proposal. Create presentation materials and prepare for the final delivery.
• Day 5 | Final Presentation : Interns will present their team’s proposal to ONE DEJIMA employees, followed by a detailed feedback session from our staff.
