Are you a skilled educator with plenty of creative energy? Do you enjoy encouraging children to ask questions and think for themselves?

Teach what you love in English on a subtropical resort island with easy access to Kobe and Osaka.
About Awaji Island International School (AIIS)
AIIS was established in 2020 for Pasona Group employees’ children (ages 3–12).
We have grown rapidly from 5 students in 2020 to 70 students in 2023.
Now, we are looking to add teachers to our afterschool program as we expand with an additional class.
- Early Years Program (9:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m): Student-focused, inquiry-based lessons in English utilizing the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP)
- After School Program (2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.): Lessons and activities ranging from phonics to programming, and ballet to karate
Our team works closely together to transform ideas into the best possible learning experience for our students, evolving the curriculum toward a more learner-focused, inquiry-based approach.
