Q1: What kind of work have you been involved in up to now?

I have been working in the Biomass Energy Division since joining the company as a new graduate, and have been involved in the development, construction and operation of biomass power plants for about 7 years.

When I first joined the company, I was involved as an assistant in the development phase of each project (dealing with local people and landowners, dealing with government agencies, negotiating various key contracts, negotiating loan contracts with financial institutions, etc.). After that, I was engaged in construction management (QCDSE management) and coordination of relationships with internal departments, sponsors, and lenders as the project manager for the TTB.

Currently, as the Operation Manager of the Fuel Department, I am in charge of ship management for the fuel supplied to biomass power plants throughout the country, as well as handling problems that arise during contract negotiations.

Q2: Why did you choose Renova?

Since I was a student, I have wanted to be involved in the biomass power plant business.

After that, while I was looking for a job based on the axes of “environmental business”, “energy”, and “local economy” I applied to RENOVA because it has the closest relationship with the local community in its business continuity.

Also, the employees I met through my job hunts were all very unique, and I got a good impression of the inspiring work environment, so I decided to join the company.

Q3: What are the characteristics of RENOVA? (Good points, things you are proud of, things you are satisfied with, etc.)

I think that “active handover of authority to young staff” is our greatest feature that we can be proud of.

Compared to major companies, support for training new graduates may be lacking, but if you act with the desire to grow on your own and gain the trust of those around you, you will be entrusted with all aspects of your work as long as it does not go against the interests of the company.

However, the responsibility and pressure you will face will be huge, but it will definitely lead to your own growth.

Furthermore, as “diverse human resources” are hired for mid-career positions, we can learn about specialized knowledge in other industries and fields through these people.
