Q1: What kind of work have you been involved in up to now?

Before joining RENOVA, I worked in accounting at a construction company and a pre-IPO firm. Since joining RENOVA, I have primarily been responsible for accounting operations related to power plant SPCs (Special Purpose Companies).

In SPC accounting, I manage multiple projects independently, handling a full range of tasks including monthly and annual closings, tax filings, and IFRS adjustments.

From the pre-construction phase of a power plant, I’ve been involved as the accounting lead throughout the multi-year construction period. When I finally completed asset capitalization and the first fiscal year’s closing and tax filing after the plant began operations, I felt an immense sense of accomplishment.

Q2: Why did you choose Renova?

My interest in the energy sector stems from my first job at a construction company that specialized in plant construction and maintenance. At my second company, a pre-IPO firm, I was drawn to the dynamic environment, the level of autonomy, the speed of decision-making, and the opportunity to create new workflows from scratch.

RENOVA felt like the perfect blend of the strengths I experienced at both previous companies, which led me to join.

Q3: What are the characteristics of RENOVA? (Good points, things you are proud of, things you are satisfied with, etc.)

RENOVA’s corporate philosophy—its mission, vision, and commitments—is clearly defined and valued not only by the management team but also by employees across the company.

One particularly memorable aspect is the monthly all-hands meeting. At my first meeting, I saw several employees directly asking questions to senior management, who responded thoughtfully and openly. This left a strong impression of the company’s transparency and openness.

Additionally, each division shares updates from executive meetings, allowing employees to stay informed about the company’s direction and mission in real time. As a result, it’s easy to understand what is expected of us and how we’re contributing to the organization, which helps maintain high motivation in our daily work.
