The Team

Your Job
Responsibilities
Mainly responsible for building data collection pipelines and infrastructure, focusing on gathering, cleansing, and modeling unstructured data from the internet, and preparing it for use in products. The data collection system is fully frameworked, eliminating the need to start from scratch each time. Instead, a system is in place that automatically performs data cleansing and modeling by simply aligning inputs and outputs.
Recently, with the growing size of the data, involvement in building data platforms and implementing distributed systems has increased. The data engineering team also conducts analysis, providing opportunities to engage in data analytics and data science if desired. A strong emphasis is placed on the application of Large Language Models (LLMs), with ongoing projects focused on exploring how LLMs can be used to process complex, unstructured data.
Requirements
- Experience in web scraping
- Experience in data cleansing
- Experience in data modeling
- Experience in ETL
- Experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
- Experience in data extraction from unstructured data
- Business-level English and reading/writing Japanese
Nice to Have
- Experience in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Machine Learning
- Experience in streaming data processing
- Experience in building and operating data platforms
- Development experience outside of work, including OSS contributions
- Native level Japanese
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, D3.js, etc.)
- Experience using LLMs in products (e.g., OpenAI)
