Role Overview
The Social Content Specialist supports the global Social Content team by managing the editorial calendar, monitoring social trends, and assisting in the development of storytelling concepts for brand and franchise communication. This role does not produce creative assets directly but collaborates closely with Marketing and Creative to ensure content ideas align with brand principles and industry best practices. The Specialist will help strengthen the brand’s digital presence through thoughtful coordination and insight-driven recommendations.
Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Manage and maintain the global social editorial calendar across brand channels (primarily Instagram).
- Monitor social media trends and identify new content opportunities aligned with the brand’s voice and communication strategy.
- Support the Social Content Manager in planning storytelling angles and campaign narratives.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Creative to ensure content concepts adhere to best practices and global brand guidelines.
- Assist in consolidating reports and performance insights in collaboration with RHQ.
- Support internal communication processes and cross-functional alignment with PR, Creative, BD, and other teams.
- Ensure timely preparation of content briefs and internal documents required for asset development.
- Track asset usage and maintain organization of OWN content libraries.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in social media, brand communication, or related digital roles.
Strong understanding of social platforms, especially Instagram and content consumption trends. - Ability to manage calendars, coordinate multiple stakeholders, and maintain high organizational standards.
- Good English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Knowledge of digital content fundamentals and storytelling structures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Preferences
- Experience working in beauty, luxury, lifestyle, or fashion industries.
- Prior experience in multinational company environments.
- Understanding of consumer insights or social listening tools.
- Basic knowledge of paid/owned/earned media ecosystems.
