•Roles & Responsibilities(業務内容)

■Job Summary:
This position leads the Shiseido Global Communications team developing, budgeting, implementing, ideating, and executing all global influencer programs and social strategy, reporting to the VP of Marketing and Consumer Experience Development department.
With a focus on influencer partnerships and programing, social content strategy and creation, makeup artist strategy, and digital marketing for brand Shiseido Tokyo Ginza, this role works in alignment with Shiseido Brand Marketing Teams across all categories and all regional Communication Teams to maintain global consistencies.
The position manages a team to execute global campaigns across PR, ePR, influencers, social media and content development.
Communicating daily with global markets and all regional leads to ensure company messages, strategies and objectives result in positive publicity, awareness, and deepened consumer engagement.

■Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
GLOBAL EARNED & PAID INTEGRATED COMMUNICATIONS & CREATOR ENGAGEMENT / BRAND COMMUNICATIONS
・Oversees the development and execution of the brands’ owned, earned and paid global creator strategies across all categories for new and sustain product launches. This includes integrated planning across departments.
・Develop Masterbrand communication strategy to amplify brand messages and storytelling with 360-degree approach for influencer programs, disruptive experiences, and event touchpoints
・Ideate new and compelling ways to engage the creator community and consumers with possible ties to retail, DTC, etc.
・Oversee regional and local market influencer strategy, approach, and activity/partnerships to ensure global consistency and cross promotion
・Secure Regional buy in to support incremental localized programs surrounding major strategic priorities
・Oversee global measurement partners, monitoring and KPI process
・Oversee all relevant budgets and interface with finance team on a regular basis to ensure accuracy. Lead creation of annual budget guidelines for markets.

■GLOBAL PR:
・Develop the brand PR communications strategy
・Establish standard KPIs for PR activations
・Oversee global events strategy, planning and execution
・Oversee creation and distribution of communications toolkits and special packaging to each region with key launch materials including messaging, press releases, photography, event, and influencer activation guidelines

■GLOBAL SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT:
・Lead strategy, creation, and execution of social first storytelling assets for all new product launches and on-going sustain content. Develop usage guidelines for all asset rollouts.
・Develop Tone of Voice for brand’s social persona
・Oversee management of global social handles including TikTok and Instagram. Act as the gatekeeper for all local handle execution and approval process.
・Oversee tools and technologies for analytics, social listening, and channel management (Meltwater, Dash Hudson, Brand Bastion)
・Manage new platform experimentation and development

■ISSUE MANAGEMENT:
・Lead Crisis/Issue Management for all brand touchpoints including Social and Traditional Media, Customer Service, E-Comm, etc. for consumer sensitivity issues, product testing and safety, ingredient concerns, talent/influencer communications related partnerships/relationships
・Partner with Legal, Shiseido Corporate Communications, Tokyo HQ and brand stakeholders on crisis and issues action plans for internal and external audiences to protect the brand image and equity globally
・Lead risk assessment for influencer partnerships and collaborations, collaborate with Shiseido Corporate Communications for external counsel accordingly

・Global SHISEIDO Marketing Teams
・Regional and local brand leads (ie US Shiseido Team)

・Overall departmental budget
・Initiatives / Project Budgets
・Statement of works for agency support

•Requirements(必要な能力/経験/資質)

・Bachelor’s degree
・Minimum of 15+ years of experience in a beauty organization
・Previous global experience necessary
・Prior experience with both Social Media and Influencer management
・Excellent presentation, verbal, interpersonal, and written communications skills
・Executive presence – ability to lead, mentor, challenge, manage and grow direct reports as well as global communications teams
・Strong technical skills including Powerpoint and Excel
・Knowledgeable and up to date on all current beauty trends
・Must be a team player and creative thinker
