Overview
We are seeking a passionate and strategic Brand Marketer who leads franchise(product)) development, particularly in the Brand Shiseido products. This role is central to defining brand concepts, mid-term strategies, innovation roadmaps, and business targets while driving impactful global communication. You will play a key role in shaping SHISEIDO’s future by creating meaningful value for consumers worldwide.
Role and Responsibility
- Lead and manage core franchises (Products): Design and refine brand concepts that align with the brand’s heritage and future vision.Strategic Planning: Translate brand statements and mid-term product strategies into clear project objectives, scopes, and KPIs, and initiate project kick-offs.
- Product Innovation: Collaborate closely with Product Development team to create innovative new value and oversee communication development that resonates with consumers.
- IMC Development: Collaborate closely with Communciation team to develop Integrated Marketing Communication(IMC) strategies and lead asset creation in partnership with external agencies
- Leadership: Act as a project leader, providing coaching and mentoring to junior team members while driving team performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Ensure accountability and alignment across global and regional stakeholders throughout project execution.
Basic Requirement
- Brand & Concept Design: Proven ability to design and develop compelling brand concepts.
- Marketing Expertise: Strong experience in marketing and communication development as a project leader, including IMC development and asset creation with agencies.
- Strategic Thinking: Strong logical and strategic thinking capabilities with high-level analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English (both verbal and written), with the ability to engage, influence, and drive diverse stakeholders.
- Mentorship: Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members as a senior or core team contributor.
- Adaptability: High agility and flexibility in a fast-changing, global business environment.
Preferred Requirement
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in the cosmetics industry, particularly within the skincare category, is highly preferred.
- Global Brand Management: Experience as a Brand Holder within a global brand organization.
- Category Knowledge: Strong passion for and deep knowledge of prestige skincare and/or makeup categories.
