With the help of our colleagues and partners in Japan and around the world, we take action for the blue planet.

Since its creation in 2011, Shizen Energy Group has always been proud to offer outstanding career development opportunities in a highly diverse environment with a strong startup culture. We also support remote and fully flexible working, although a successful candidate would need to be based in or relocate to Japan to attend face-to-face meetings.

  • Long-term operations: examination of trouble-shooting methods, liaison and coordination with maintenance and security contractors.
  • Value enhancement: performance and risk management analysis/improvement
  • Short-term operations: repair planning, budgeting, business reporting (monthly/annual)
  • Contracting: implementation of clauses in operational management contracts, optimisation of insurance/guarantee/commissioning contracts.
  • Stakeholder support: reporting to the company and the clients, support and coordination with government authorities (such as municipalities, relevant ministries, power aggregators), etc.

Main sources of energy: solar, small hydro, wind, biomass, with possible involvement with grid storage batteries.

Key Appeal Points

Opportunities for personal growth

The power generation business is diverse, and as we tackle ‘unanswerable questions’ on a daily basis, we can hone our skills in problem-solving, problem-finding and considering different perspectives.
Our teams are involved in development, EPC, asset management, O&M, system development and all other areas of the power generation business, enabling all of our colleagues to broaden their knowledge of this exciting market.
The scope of experience offered at Shizen Energy, which manages several hundred MW of power plants, is as varied as your curiosity, and you will have the opportunity to further propel your career.
