業務内容

北米・日本で2026年以降にローンチするAFEELAへ搭載される自動運転AIモデル開発業務。VLM（Vision Language Model）をはじめとする様々な新しいAI技術を積極的に取り入れ、国内外の一般ユーザーが実際に利用する自動運転システムへの実装と改善を行っていただき、顧客価値の最大化に貢献します。

具体的な業務内容の一例

• End to endモデル開発
• Perception、Prediction、Planningなどの各要素でのAI活用
• モデルのECUへのデプロイ
• モデルの再学習および性能評価・検証
• 大規模データセット開発（データ収集、データセット開発、前処理、分析等）
• 最新論文のリサーチ、ベンチマーク、テスト実装

所属組織

部・課・チーム

自動運転システムに関するポジション/チームは複数ありますが、希望と適性をみてアサインメントを判断します。
組織階層はフラットで、社長/役員レベルと距離が近く週次レベルでコミュニケーションを取りスピード感を持って意思決定・開発を進めます。そのため、兼務等の形で複数のPJやチームに跨ることも比較的容易に可能です。

必要なスキル

必須

• 機械学習・深層学習を用いた認識・制御技術の研究・開発経験（目安3年以上）
• プログラミングスキル
• データ処理や機械学習ライブラリ使用経験

 Responsibilities

We are seeking AI engineers to develop autonomous driving AI models for AFEELA, which will launch in North America and Japan from 2026 onward. This role involves actively adopting cutting-edge AI technologies—including Vision-Language Models (VLM)—and implementing them into autonomous driving systems used by real customers worldwide. You will contribute to maximizing customer value through continuous improvement and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop End-to-End models for autonomous driving
• Apply AI across core components such as Perception, Prediction, and Planning
• Deploy models to ECUs and optimize for in-vehicle environments
• Perform model retraining, performance evaluation, and validation
• Build large-scale datasets (data collection, preprocessing, analysis)
• Research latest academic papers, conduct benchmarking, and implement test prototypes

Department

There are multiple positions and teams related to autonomous driving systems, and assignments will be determined based on your preferences and suitability.
Our organizational structure is flat, with close proximity to executives and the CEO, enabling weekly communication and fast-paced decision-making and development. This structure also makes it relatively easy to work across multiple projects or teams, including through dual assignments when appropriate.

Requirements

Required skills / experience

• 3+ years of experience in research and development of recognition and control technologies using machine learning and deep learning
• Strong programming skills
• Experience in data processing and using machine learning libraries

＊No prior experience in the mobility industry required

Preferred skills / experience

• Research and development experience with cutting-edge AI technologies such as Vision-Language Models (VLM), World Models, and Reinforcement Learning, including experience in publishing academic papers
• Research and development experience in autonomous driving or robotics
• Experience in building large-scale datasets, including data collection, dataset development, preprocessing, and analysis

Language Skills

• Basic reading and writing skills in English (comfortable using English)
• Basic communication skills in Japanese (approximately N2 level or higher)
