業務内容

当社調達戦略の企画・立案、開発・試作購買、取引パートナーの選定・管理等を幅広くお任せします。ソニー・ホンダモビリティ独自調達機能の立ち上げから、初号機市場導入、次世代機開発に向けた競争力強化/仕込みを並行して実行するフェーズにあり、調達のエキスパートとして企画領域～バイヤーまで幅広い業務に携わっていただきます。ご経験に応じて、調達を起点としたサプライチェーン全体の最適化や構想検討にも携わっていただく可能性もございます。

具体的な業務内容の一例：

• ダイレクトソーシングを含むソニー・ホンダモビリティとしての試作購買体制構築
• QMS、CSRサステナビリティを考慮した調達戦略企画
• グローバルな取引先パートナー開拓・選定・管理
• 開発部品調達（センサー、カメラ、ECU、半導体、バッテリー、ディスプレイ等）
• ソフトウェアライセンス領域調達（ライセンス条件交渉、契約締結等）
• エンジニアリングリソース調達（ソフトウェア開発委託）

募集背景

ソニー・ホンダモビリティの開発するAFEELAは、人とモビリティとの関係性の再定義をキーワードに、全く新しいモビリティ体験を提供するEVです。調達部門としてはその多様なニーズ（約40ものセンサー/カメラ類、AI/ソフトウェア技術の進化に耐えるECUや半導体、バッテリー、エンタテインメント体験に対応するディスプレイ/スピーカー/各種ソフトウェアライセンス等）に対し迅速に応えることで、AFEELAの価値最大化に貢献します。AFEELAは主な開発は日本で実施、生産は北米、ローンチは北米及び日本であること、また、多様なグローバルパートナーとの協業が重要な付加価値の源泉となっています。そのような状況下、エンジニア及びグローバルマーケット/パートナーと戦略的に相対し事業貢献いただけるメンバーを求めています。

目下、当社の注力するセンシング、車室内エンタメ領域の開発購買、及びD2Cビジネスモデルゆえディーラーオプション品/用品や補修部品等への対応が必要ですが、今後次世代機以降に向けて領域の拡張が見込まれます。

所属組織

役員直下の組織として数名程度。
1人がカバーする業務領域が広く、会社が小さく組織がフラットなため、同フロアの企画開発メンバーと日々コミュニケーションを取りながら業務を遂行します。
ビジネス全体を見通しやすく、裁量をもって業務に取り組める環境です。

• 調達業務(試作購買・開発購買領域) 3年以上のご経験
• 電気・半導体・メカ部品の技術および製造プロセスに対する知見
• コスト/性能/成長性のバランス的な判断能力および折衝能力
• パートナー与信管理・コンプラ管理の経験
• SW領域などの業務委託の査定のご経験

Job description

You will be responsible for a wide range of activities, including planning and formulating our procurement strategy, managing purchasing for development and prototyping, and selecting and overseeing our business partners. As we work concurrently on establishing Sony Honda Mobility’s unique procurement function, introducing our first model to the market, and strengthening competitiveness for next‑generation product development, you will be engaged in a broad scope of procurement operations—from strategic planning to buyer responsibilities—as an expert in the field. Depending on your experience, you may also be involved in optimization and concept development across the entire supply chain, starting from procurement.

Examples of specific responsibilities include:

• Building a prototype purchasing framework for Sony Honda Mobility, including direct sourcing
• Planning procurement strategies that incorporate QMS and CSR sustainability considerations
• Identifying, selecting, and managing global supplier partners
• Procuring development components (e.g., sensors, cameras, ECUs, semiconductors, batteries, displays)
• Procurement in software licensing (negotiation of license terms, contract execution, etc.)
• Procuring engineering resources (outsourced software development)

Background of Recruitment 

AFEELA, developed by Sony Honda Mobility, is an EV designed to offer an entirely new mobility experience, with the key concept of redefining the relationship between people and mobility. The Procurement Division contributes to maximizing the value of AFEELA by rapidly responding to a wide range of needs—such as approximately 40 sensors and cameras, ECUs and semiconductors capable of supporting the evolution of AI and software technologies, batteries, and displays, speakers, and various software licenses that enable immersive in‑cabin entertainment experiences.

While the core vehicle development is carried out in Japan, production is planned for North America, with launch markets in both North America and Japan. Collaboration with diverse global partners is also a critical source of added value. In this context, we are seeking members who can strategically engage with engineers as well as global markets and partners to help drive the business forward.

At present, our priority areas include development purchasing for sensing technologies and in‑cabin entertainment, as well as handling dealer options, accessories, and service parts required under our D2C business model. Looking ahead, we expect these responsibilities to expand further as we move toward next‑generation models and beyond.

Department

The team consists of only a few members and operates directly under executive leadership. With a broad range of responsibilities to cover, the role offers a high degree of autonomy and ownership.

Requirements

Required skills / experience

• Over 3 years of experience in procurement (prototype purchasing and development purchasing)
• Knowledge of the technology and manufacturing processes for electrical, semiconductor, and mechanical components
• Ability to make balanced decisions considering cost, performance, and growth potential, along with strong negotiation skills
• Experience in partner credit management and compliance management
• Experience in evaluating outsourced services, including software-related engagements

Preferred skills / experience

• Experience in launching a procurement team or working in new business development
• Engineering experience or software development experience
• Knowledge of software licensing
• Sales experience in industries such as electronics or semiconductors
• Experience in mass‑production purchasing

Language Skills

• Japanese: Advanced business level or higher 
• English: Advanced business level or higher (for negotiations with US partners), TOEIC score of 700 or above
