本ポジションは、リゾート運営におけるセキュリティ、資産管理、およびワークフォースセーフティ（従業員の安全管理）を支えるテクノロジーソリューションの導入・運用を担当する Business Systems Analyst（BSA）として活躍いただくポジションです。

小規模なプロジェクトやシステム改善案件では、プロジェクトマネージャー／システムアナリストとして主体的に推進し、要件定義、テスト、ドキュメント作成、システムサポートなどを担当します。また、大規模案件ではプロダクトオーナーやBSAを支援しながら、要件整理やステークホルダーとの調整を行い、円滑なプロジェクト推進に貢献していただきます。

Global Technology & Innovation

 Global Technology & Innovation（GTI）組織は、約70名規模・8つの機能別チームで構成されており、テーマパークビジネス全体におけるデジタルトランスフォーメーションを推進しています。

チームは、ゲスト体験を向上させるデジタルプロダクトから、企業活動を支えるエンタープライズシステムまで、幅広い領域の企画・導入・運用を担っています。

主なスコープには、eコマース、チケッティング・入場管理システム、Web・モバイルアプリケーション、ゲームおよび新技術を活用したゲスト体験、フォト認証テクノロジー、アトラクション予約プラットフォーム、飲食プラットフォームとのデジタル連携体験などがあります。また、財務、人事、購買、バックオフィス業務などを支えるコーポレート／エンタープライズシステムの企画・導入にも携わり、パーク運営全体をテクノロジーで支えています。

主な業務内容

セキュリティ・資産管理領域のサポート

• セキュリティおよび資産管理ソリューションに関する要件収集・文書化を支援
• 入退室管理システム、監視カメラシステム、RFID資産管理、施設監視システムなどの運用支援
• 資産の調達、管理、保守、廃棄を含む資産ライフサイクルプロセスの分析支援

プロジェクト推進支援

• 小～中規模プロジェクト（機能改善、レポート開発、設定変更、EOL対応など）の推進
• 大規模なセキュリティ・資産管理システム導入プロジェクトの支援
• ソリューション評価およびベンダーとの協議への参加

テスト・ドキュメント作成

• 機能改善やシステム連携に関するテストケースの作成および実施
• ユーザー受入テスト（UAT）の支援および課題解決の調整
• システムフロー、設定内容、エンドユーザー向けマニュアルの作成

部門横断的な連携

• 部外ステークホルダー、PMO、PdM、エンジニア、ベンダー等と連携
• 資産管理・セキュリティシステムに関するローカル要件と企業標準との整合性確保
• システム導入時のチェンジマネジメントおよびトレーニング支援

業務分析・最適化

• 現行業務プロセスおよびシステム構成を分析し、自動化・簡素化・システム統合の機会を特定
• 業務要件を技術要件へ変換し、開発・エンジニアリングチームへ連携
• システムの継続的改善を支援し、コンプライアンスやベストプラクティスとの整合を確保

JOB SUMMARY

This role will act the Business Systems Analyst (BSA) and project teams in delivering and supporting technology solutions that enable resort operations security, asset tracking, and workforce safety systems. This role is designed for an early-career professional who will gain hands-on experience in physical and digital security systems, asset management platforms, and related operational technologies.

You will be entrusted with small t-shirt size projects and enhancements to act as Project Manager/Analyst, while supporting larger initiatives through requirements gathering, testing, documentation, and system support. You will be given opportunity to manage bigger more complex programs to assist Product Owners to ensure requirements and processes are captured and overall coordination with business stakeholders are smooth. The position requires a strong interest in operational security technology and asset lifecycle management in a complex resort environment.

Global Technology & Innovation

The Global Technology & Innovation (GTI) organization consists of approximately 70 professionals across eight functional teams, driving digital transformation initiatives across all areas of the theme park business.

The organization is responsible for the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of a broad portfolio of digital products and enterprise platforms, ranging from guest-facing experiences to business-critical corporate systems.

Key areas of responsibility include eCommerce platforms, Ticketing & Access Control Systems, Web and Mobile Applications, gaming and emerging technology experiences that connect guests both at home and in the park, photo validation technologies, ride reservation platforms, food and beverage platforms, and digitally connected character experiences.

In addition, the organization leads the strategy, implementation, and enhancement of corporate and enterprise systems that support critical business functions such as Finance, Human Resources, Procurement, and other back-office operations. By combining guest experience innovation with enterprise transformation, GTI plays a central role in enabling the future growth and success of Universal Studios Japan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support for Security & Asset Domains

• Assist in gathering and documenting requirements for security and asset management solutions.
• Support operational systems such as access control, surveillance platforms, RFID asset tracking, and facility monitoring systems.
• Provide hands-on assistance in analyzing asset lifecycle processes, including acquisition, tracking, maintenance, and disposal.

Project & Delivery Assistance

• Take responsibility for small to mid-scope projects (e.g., minor enhancements, reporting requests, configuration updates, EOL and/or workstreams that are expected to be manageable by this grade level).
• Support Business Systems Analysts in managing larger-scale security and asset technology initiatives.
• Participate in solution evaluations and vendor discussions for security and asset platforms

Testing & Documentation

• Develop and execute test cases for small enhancements and integrations.
• Assist in user acceptance testing and coordinate feedback resolution.
• Document system workflows, configurations, and end-user guides.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Security Operations, Resorts Operations, PMOs, Product Owners, IT engineers, and vendors.
• Ensure local requirements for asset and security systems align with corporate standards.
• Support change management and training activities for system rollouts.

Analysis & Optimization

• Analyze “as-is” Resorts Operations processes and system landscapes to identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and integration.
• Translate business processes into technical requirements for development and engineering teams.
• Support continuous system optimization and ensure alignment with HR compliance and best practices.

Administrative & Other

• Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established USJ policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Skills

• Basic knowledge of security operations technology (e.g., access control, surveillance, RFID systems) and their integration within resort or venue environments.
• Familiarity with asset management platforms and system integrations, including experience coordinating between infrastructure, application, and business process layers.
• Exposure to reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for performance monitoring and operational dashboards.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic testing frameworks for delivery governance and release readiness tracking.
• Understanding of networking, device connectivity, and IoT concepts relevant to digital guest and operations technology.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot and validate integrations, device communication, and data flow stability.
• Awareness of information security practices and coordination points with cybersecurity and compliance teams.
• Experience participating in UAT, hypercare, or operational transition phases, ensuring end-to-end reliability and issue traceability.
• Working understanding of the IT Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and ability to support planning, testing, and hypercare phases to ensure end-to-end reliability.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and vendor teams to troubleshoot and validate integrations, device communication, and data flow stability.

REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE

• 3–5 years of professional experience in IT systems support, application delivery, or operational technology, preferably within large enterprise or multi-site environments.
• Hands-on experience or exposure to security systems (e.g., access control, CCTV, biometrics) or asset management platforms (e.g., Maximo, SAP Asset Management), with understanding of data flow between connected systems.
• Familiarity with requirements gathering, configuration documentation, and testing processes, including use of tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Experience working as part of an implementation or systems integration team, coordinating between business users, vendors, and infrastructure groups.
• Demonstrated involvement in system deployment, testing, or hypercare phases, ensuring operational stability and documentation accuracy.
• Practical understanding of IT Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including planning, development, and release management support.
• Exposure to basic server infrastructure, networking, or IoT-connected devices, and ability to collaborate with technical teams for troubleshooting and validation.
• Experience in reporting and analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and ability to interpret operational metrics for management use.
• Demonstrated learning agility with a strong interest in exploring AI, automation, and emerging digital technologies to drive efficiency and innovation.

LANGUAGE

Japanese and English in business communication is mandatory

Bachelor’s degree required (Computer Science, Engineering, HR/Finance Technology, or related fields).
