概要

本ポジションでは、多文化かつバイリンガルな環境の中で、パーク運営や大規模なデジタルトランスフォーメーション施策を支える重要なインフラ基盤の設計・構築・運用に従事していただきます。グローバルチームと連携しながら、日本国内のチームとも密接に協働していただきます。

業務内容

  • ネットワークのパフォーマンスおよび可用性を維持するため、日常的な運用管理およびサポートを担当
  • ネットワーク設定変更の実施および影響検証
  • ネットワーク運用チームへの技術的な指導・支援を行い、運用標準およびSLAの順守を徹底
    パーク運営に影響を及ぼす緊急性の高い障害を含む、ネットワークトラブルの調査・対応
    ServiceNowを用いたインシデント、変更、サービスリクエストの管理および迅速な解決対応
    ネットワーク機器の資産管理およびインベントリの維持
  • 有線および無線（高密度Wi‑Fi環境を含む）ネットワークの運用・トラブルシューティング
    ネットワーク構成図、標準運用手順書（SOP）、ランブックなどのドキュメント作成および更新
  • ネットワークの導入、アップグレード、保守作業の支援（必要に応じて夜間・休日作業あり）
    社内関連チームおよびベンダーと連携し、パーク全体のシステム連携を支援
    自動化や運用効率化など、ネットワーク運用改善の提案および推進

必要スキル

  • 語学要件
    • 日本語：流暢、もしくはネイティブレベル
    • 英語：英語での読み書きが可能な方（翻訳ツール等を利用していただき、英語でのやりとりが日々発生します）グローバル環境で積極的に英語を使用する意欲がある方は歓迎いたします。
  • 必須
    • ネットワーク機器の設定・管理に関する5年以上の実務経験
    • 以下いずれか、または同等の実務経験Cisco スイッチおよびルーター
      • Cisco Identity Services Engine（ISE）
      • Palo Alto ファイアウォール
      • Infoblox
      • Aruba Wireless
      • ネットワーク運用およびサポート環境での業務経験
      • ServiceNow もしくは同等のITSMツールの使用経験
      • ネットワーク自動化に関する基礎知識（Python、Netmiko 等）
      • 高いトラブルシューティング能力および分析力
      • 主体性と当事者意識を持って業務に取り組める姿勢
      • プロセス志向で業務を遂行できる方

歓迎スキル

  • CCNP資格保有
  • Aruba Wi‑Fi関連資格（または同等の資格）

JOB SUMMARY

Digital & Technology at Universal Studios Japan is seeking a skilled and proactive Network Engineer to support the mission-critical network infrastructure that supports park operations and guest experiences. This role is responsible for maintaining high network availability across the park’s campus network, on-prem data centers, and offsite environment.

As a core member of the network infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the operation, support, and continuous improvement of network platforms. This includes day-to-day operations, troubleshooting, and implementing changes across both wired and wireless environments.

The ideal candidate will bring strong hands-on technical expertise, the ability to guide operations, and the responsiveness required in a dynamic, high-impact environment where network performance directly affects guest satisfaction and business operations.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and support daily network operations to maintain performance and availability
  • Implement and validate network configuration changes
  • Provide guidance to the network operations team and ensure adherence to standards and SLAs
  • Troubleshoot network issues, including time-critical incidents affecting park operations
  • Manage ServiceNow tickets (incidents, changes, requests) and ensure timely resolution
  • Maintain network inventory and asset records
  • Support and troubleshoot wired and wireless (Wi-Fi) networks, including high-density environments
  • Create and maintain documentation such as network diagrams, SOPs, and runbooks
  • Support network deployments, upgrades, and maintenance, including off-hours work when required
  • Work with internal teams and vendors to support integrated systems across the park
  • Identify opportunities for improvement, including automation and operational efficiency

REQUIREMENTS

  • Japanese: Fluent or Native-level proficiency
  • English: Business proficiency, with the ability to collaborate with US-based teams
    • Candidates with conversational English proficiency and a willingness to actively use English in a global environment may also be considered
  • MUST HAVE

5+ years of experience configuring and managing network equipment

  • Hands-on experience with or equivalent to:

    • Cisco switches and routers

    • Cisco Identity Service Engine (ISE)
    • Palo Alto firewall
    • Infoblox
    • Aruba Wireless
    • Experience in network operations and support environments
    • Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools
    • Basic knowledge of network automation (e.g., Python, Netmiko)
    • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
    • Proactive approach with a sense of ownership
    • Process-oriented

NICE TO HAVE

  • CCNP certification
  • Aruba Wi-Fi certification (or equivalent)
  • Experience in network design
