In this role, you will be responsible for working with our business partners and product teams to understand the requirements that drive the technology solutions we will deploy and analyze key requirements needed. You will engage in the testing cycles of those solutions to align and drive that the design meets the original set of expectations. You are part of a global team that is consistently looking at ways to enhance the experience for guests, from planning their trip to their in park visit, to their post return while driving the best experience all around.
As part of the Digital and Technology team, you will work in a global and multinational team atmosphere, with team members that come to work with us, from various countries. You will engage with not only team members but with multinational vendors that support our destinations and experiences across the globe. So be prepared, as our primary language to operate in is English, daily; however, having other languages, like Japanese is a plus, for local communications.
After joining the company, you will gain a basic understanding of the latest technology for our theme parks and overall in park ride solutions. Not to worry, we will work with you to refine your business system analysis skills. Your role will be responsible for reporting to management both in Japan and within the US. Regardless of your length of service, you will be involved in operations with other parks around the world and will be able to grow significantly.

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly collaborative and experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to play a key role in driving business value and operational excellence during the BAU phase. Acting as a trusted partner to business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams, the BSA will ensure that business requirements—particularly within the ticketing and finance domains—are effectively captured, validated, and translated into robust system solutions. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of requirement management, facilitate cross-functional alignment, and contribute directly to the successful delivery of high-quality enhancements that support evolving business needs and strategic objectives.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document BAU enhancements and operational requirements.
- Perform impact analysis across ticketing, finance, and operational processes.
- Ensure clear and complete requirement definition, documentation, and business alignment.
Backlog & Business Alignment
- Manage and prioritize BAU backlog items in collaboration with business stakeholders.
- Act as the liaison between business and IT teams to ensure shared understanding.
- Control requirement scope and manage expectation alignment.
Testing & Validation
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) planning, test case creation, and execution support.
- Drive validation for finance-related areas including ledger, tax, and refund logic.
- Ensure solutions meet business requirements and support business sign-off.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the communication bridge between business, development, and QA teams.
- Communicate issues, risks, and requirement-related insights effectively.
- Support root cause analysis from a business and requirement perspective.
Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to improve BAU operations and processes.
- Maintain and enhance documentation and knowledge management artifacts.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
- Experience in ticketing systems and finance validation is highly preferred.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with enterprise systems such as ticketing, ERP, or finance systems.
- Familiarity with SQL, reporting, and data validation.
- Experience working with cross-functional global teams.
