【JOB SUMMARY】

The Senior Application Engineer’s role is to assist in defining the overall strategy, standardization, and maintenance of software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements.  This includes creating, testing, analyzing, implementing, and supporting software programs and applications along with configuration management of various existing applications. The Senior Application Engineer will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production lifecycle.  It will serve as a key contact with the user community for solving business issues as well as providing support and guidance to the team.  

【ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES】

●　Collaborate with internal partners, vendors and global counterparts in conceptualizing and development of new software programs and applications in the realm of enterprise asset management and predictive maintenance application landscape by leading the definition, development, and documentation of software’s business requirements, objectives, deliverables, and specifications in collaboration with the broader IT teams and departments  

●　Provide a system support role for day-to-day systems operations for multiple applications with the goal of evolving into the Maximo Subject Matter Expert (SME) in market  

●　Liaise with other technical staff to assist in resolving problems with software products or company software systems at all Parks Technology locations and to lend expertise toward driving solutions.

●　Lead Testing and Release Management and Change Control processes along with other Universal Destinations & Experience (UDX) Technology compliance initiatives  

●　Manage vendor relationships, send out regular status reports and regularly engage with the global teams to refine operation support strategy  

●　Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities

●　Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws. 
●　Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills. 
●　Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams. 
●　Highly self-motivated and directed. 
●　Keen attention to detail 
●　Ability to communicate (written and spoken) in both the English and Japanese language
