About the Job

1) Mission and Responsibility
Inside Sales is a strategic organization that plays an important part in the revenue process and is an important position that serves as the first contact with customers.
The mission of Inside Sales is to listen to the issues and needs of prospective customers obtained through marketing activities by phone or e-mail, create business opportunities while approaching customers, and connect them to field sales.
Since many of our potential customers are organizations above a certain size (enterprises), we are required to approach them while keeping a high resolution of their organization chart, decision-making flow, and especially who we should deliver value to.
In addition, we actively engage in activities to acquire and nurture prospective customers, including the planning and execution of marketing initiatives.

  • Generating business opportunities from target accounts through phone calls and e-mails.
  • The role is not simply to generate business opportunities, but to control the balance between quality and quantity while controlling and judging the needs match and the customer’s interest level.
  • Planning and executing measures in cooperation with sales and marketing teams to develop target accounts (planning/implementing/presenting at seminars, exhibiting at trade shows, etc.)
  • Not only "getting the deal," but also looking at the revenue organization as a whole and creating a system that can generate revenue effectively and efficiently.

2) Values to deliver the client
Our main clients are primarily business companies, such as enterprises operating in the Chinese market, including trading companies and manufacturers. Also recently, we particularly focus on professional firms in Hong Kong (financial industry, funds, consulting firms).
In Japan, SPEEDA is widely known among professional firms, but in Greater China, SPEEDA is in the process of expanding its value. It is required that consultants and bankers who support decision-making in the business world have a high level of resolution in their work structures and procedures.

3) Team
The current revenue team consists of 2 Marketing, 2 Inside Sales, 5 Field Sales, and 4 Customer Success. We are looking to create a professional, autonomous team with people who want to create and drive their own business.

Requirements

【MUST】- meet all of the following criteria

  • Those who have at least 3 years of experience in the corporate sales area of the Chinese market and have produced overwhelming results (regardless of the industry, but especially those who are facing professional firms).
  • Consistent track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Those who enjoy creating a better approach, going beyond existing methods and frameworks.
  • Able to communicate in Chinese and English for business purposes.
  • Those who behave based on our mission and seven values in the past and in the future.
  • Able to commit to business expansion with a sense of ownership.

【Welcome】

  • Experience collaborating with companies in the Hong Kong market
  • Experience in achieving overwhelming results
  • Experience in consulting services as a sales
  • Experience with SaaS products
  • Experience with SFA (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Experience in the start-up phase of a business
  • Fluency in Japanese (writing, speaking, reading) is a plus, but not required.
