Position Summary

We’re seeking a Part-Time B2B Sales Representative to help expand Wayfarer’s footprint in the B2B space. Your mission will be to build and nurture relationships with corporate clients, relocation agencies, educational institutions, travel agencies, tour operators, and other partners who might need long-stay or group accommodations.

This is a flexible, hands-on role suited to a self-starter with excellent communication skills and a passion for hospitality and business development.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify and reach out to potential B2B clients, including:
    1. Corporations with frequent business travel needs
    2. Relocation service providers
    3. Schools, universities, or training programs requiring accommodations
    4. Event organizers or tour operators
    5. Travel agencies and Destination Management Companies (DMCs)
  2. Handle group booking inquiries and ensure group requirements and contracts are managed smoothly
  3. Present Wayfarer’s offerings, pricing, and unique service advantages to prospective partners
  4. Arrange and conduct virtual or in-person introductory meetings
  5. Host site inspections to showcase rooms and products when necessary
  6. Arrange and conduct introductory calls or in-person meetings
  7. Collaborate with the internal team to develop tailored pricing proposals and partnership terms
  8. Maintain accurate lead lists, track follow-ups, and report weekly sales activities
  9. Represent Wayfarer’s values and brand with professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm

What We’re Looking For

  1. Experience or strong interest in sales, business development, or hospitality
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Japanese (Business English is a plus)
  3. Comfortable with cold outreach and client-facing communication
  4. Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently
  5. Availability for 8 to 24 hours per week with flexible scheduling
  6. Based in Japan (Kyoto, Osaka, or Tokyo preferred), but remote work is welcome

Nice to Have

  1. Previous experience in hotel sales, OTA/agent relations, or real estate
  2. Familiarity with the business travel or long-stay market
  3. An existing network of corporate or B2B contacts
