Who is Wayfarer?

Wayfarer is an innovative hotel operations and travel startup in Japan. Founded in late 2019, we manage over 400 rooms across our three brands: Wayfarer, Kabin, and ORI.

Our vision as a company is to brighten life for the next generation of everyday travelers. This means we build products that expand beyond just a place to stay; we connect travelers to the local community so they can discover more authentic experiences and explore IRL.

Responsibilities

• Be the vanguard for property operations, reception, and traveler services
• Own and resolve operational challenges decisively and independently
• Assist the operations team to refine and document processes
• Implement operational improvements, product collaborations, tech systems, and automations
• Providing timely and accurate responses to guest inquiries and provide support on-site for guests

Requirements/Preferences

• High ability in written and spoken Japanese as well as English
• Must be living in Japan with a valid visa/working status
• Hospitality experience/familiarity with night shift
