Role Summary
You will support Wayfarer’s expansion of hotels under management & room count growth through financial analysis and business development. This includes evaluating properties, building and running financial models and conducting market research.

We value structured thinking, numerical literacy, curiosity, and communication more than years of real estate experience.

Over time, this role has the potential to grow into leading new capital partner relationships and driving new deal execution.

What You’ll Do

• Create and update detailed financial models for hotel operations business plans for real estate investors, service providers and lending banks - seeking to deliver the best strategy for lifting returns and cash flows
• Collaborate with operations, finance and revenue departments for model inputs and assumptions
• Create reports, memos and presentations for internal/external use
• Support market research and due diligence.
• Maintain pipeline trackers, databases, and internal benchmarks

Requirements (Must)

• Strong analytical mindset; comfortable with numbers
• Solid working skills in Excel + Presentations (case study)
• Fluent English+Basic Level Japanese
• Proactive, curious, willing to learn fast; comfortable asking questions
• Based in Japan

Nice to Have

• Finance/consulting/trading house/asset management background
• Any exposure to real estate or hospitality
• Familiarity with TMK / GK-TK / TKGK (not required)
• Business-level Japanese or Fluent Chinese

Who We Are Looking For

• Curious and analytically minded, with strong numerical sensitivity
• Comfortable working with Excel and PowerPoint to turn analysis into clear outputs
• Proactive, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions
• Fluent English+Basic Level Japanese
• Based in Japan with valid work authorization
